No long-term plan? Well they want to be able to survive the post-apocalyptic world as its strongest survivor, that's actually their main goal so yes they have a long term plan.

Obsolete? Their doctrine was practically fabricated on the basis of a post-apocalyptic world.

No purpose, honesty? They have a purpose, it just doesn't involve going around grabbing land and killing people for absolutely no reason. Honesty? They are noble to their cause and to each other as brothers and sisters in arms.

Given that they appear to be a dying breed. I'd say job not-well-done.



I don't think the NCR goes around grabbing land just for "the Lulz". Their goals are every bit as viable as the Brotherhoods.

I'll give it to the NCR though, at least they don't whine and stamp their foot when they don't get a shiny piece of tech.

They have no long-term purpose, collct guns to get stronger to collect more guns; how does that improve anything? As for the latter, so does the NCR and the Enclave, President Richardson was willing to martyr himself for the Project because he thought that his people and the human race would be better off.

Oh well might as well throw my two cents in, at least the Enclave has a actual plan for the future, the Brotherhood is so hell bent on keeping to their codex that even some of their own leaders will admit that it'll be the death of them., so they're fighting and dieing with no end or greater goal in mind. Not to say I agree with the Enclave, because I dont, but they do at least have something they're shooting towards.

Cass describes what the Van Graffs did to the Caravans in Heartaches by the number as "Brotherhood level murder." Where is the honour in that? Hell you guys didn't even try to address the NCR Brotherhood War. Or how that fits into "We're protecting people, even if its from themselves".
