What faction are you most allied with?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Pre-Post-Apocalyptic NCR Born and Raised!

Though, I think soon I will end up moving to Las Vegas. So it'll basically be like playing the game in Real Life. hahahaha

Oh, I'll make it like the game. I'll be standing around in my Military Jacket with an NCR badge saying "Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a Nuclear Winter" over and over again.

For me I think its actually the bos. I know they have some scenarios where they do "bad stuff," but overall this small chapter has hope to change their ways.

I thought I would dislike the western bos, but they never tell me I should be banging rocks together or anything like that. I find a way around killing them most of the time ( I did kill them with cl guy, but my cl guy is just so in love with cl he ll do almost anything for them)

I just cling to this hope that what ever is left of the western brotherhood will change before its too late. It may already be too late though.

Bos is just badass........... just look at them........

With the major factions, it's a tie with House and the NCR (two times each). Yes Man once. Almost every character I've played has joined the Followers. My EW character joined the BOS, and I consider her BOS all the way. They all have their good and bad points, but for me the Followers are my favorites.

That must be one funky character you have there. Walking around greasing your hair with a leather jacket and chainsaw screaming "True to Caesar" as you chop up your enemies.

He's one mother[censored] cool cattus.

^This. I too hope for a turnaround in the West BoS's future. Though I know some people will complain if they do. Oh well, at least this isn't NMA...

that makes no sense you need to get settled and make the country it once was.

But then the fallout series must come to an end just by sheer logic of the title FALLOUT.Which insists it's about nuclear war and it's effects afterwards not people completely recovered from it as that would be a very boring game .And what you gonna call it civilized 4 .

Followers of the Apocalypse for me, they seem to only want the best for the wasteland no matter the cost and will always seek the peaceful way(Apart from Joshua Graham/Caesar who lost their way)

Wow I didn't expect the Brotherhood to be up there with NCR and Legion on the poll. Figured we made so many enemies.

Now to the people who voted for the Brotherhood:

My name is Paladin Dune, you can't join us cause we ain't recruiting at the moment. But if you wanna help, go pick up some laser and plasma rifles, sensor modules, scrap metal, and power armor and drop if off to either Senior Knight Lorenzo at Hidden Valley or Defender Casdin at Fort Independence.

You can do the same with guns.

yes Mr. Hanlon you could however picture a man wearing a Pompadour hair cut wielding a chainsaw or shotgun fist of death screaming in latin while wear a fancy suit. That is really fun to do while in combat with a deathclaw or The http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Cazador

Being the Lone Wanderer in New Vegas due to trying to unite the Brotherhood (he got there using the space ship from Mothership Zeta), it only makes sense that his true alligence is to the Brotherhood. However he would like to see NCR running the Mojave due to how adamant the Brotherhood is with codex regulations. He hopes that they will come around and help others like the Lyons Brotherhood, but until then he will defend them, assist them and make a truce with the NCR for them. This is also my world view, I usually roleplay as myself if given badass abilities and powers.

Edit: Went off topic.

Voted Followers of the Apocalypse; they're trying to actually do some good without getting sidetracked by power grabs. I view NCR as the lesser of evils between the big powers, will go out of my way to stomp Legion any chance I get. I am always fond of the BOS out of pure nostalgia, but Veronica's summed things up well - they've grown rapidly irrelevant. I like sparing them in NV, but they're a solution to nothing whatsoever.

The Brotherhood for me.

Just a note, you could be working with Yes Man but your true allegience is with the Kings for example.

I was yes man, But now Im with Mr. House. I think hes the best chance fr humanity, especialy sence hes got me to take care of the stuff he cant/ doesnt have time to like freeside and starting up an army. :disguise:

It does not matter if they complain. The motives part of a groups lore can be changed. The bos has used its power in 3 or the 5 fo that are considered canon to acomplish something in society.

People wanting change is also part of their lore from nearly the begining.

NMA people or who ever wants can complain, but they first must understand the difference between lore and canon and lore that is canon.

Most have demonstrated that they do not have a good grasp of the words they so often throw around.

Much like capitalism, the NCR is a system of taking and giving---but much more taking. They are ineffecient, corrupt, and tyrannical. When people like the Alice Mclafferty and Heck Gunderson,
General Oliver and President Kimbal have the real power in the NCR, then I say let it burn.

The BoS has no interest in petty conquest. I don't hate the people of the NCR, I actually admire the soldiers that fight for it, but I still want to bring the bear down. I don't take pleasure in killing NCR soldiers, but I do what I must.

Steel be with us.

There striving more to settle the land than BOS.

The NCR is a corrupt and brutal imperialist organization that only cares about increasing their power. They do not care about helping people unless it benefits them in some way. They are not the "good guys". In Freeside the NCR was a paying a drug server to "keep Freeside down" because it's residents were resisting being integrated into the NCR. The goal is to sabotage any kind of progress in places that refuse to join the NCR so that it does not become a model for other places (the internal version of the "domino theory"). Strikingly similar to what the real US government does to third world countries that resist Globalization except they do it with covert operations, death squads, economic strangulation, subversion and in some cases overt military force.

Well said. Im asuming you're an infowarior like me ehh? :goodjob:

And that mentality has always been used by imperialist nations, from britian, to us now a days. You cant just say"Im a son of a [censored], and im doin this for my self", they have to trick thier people, and them selves, into thinking they're doing it for for the people they control.I thank Obsidian for this anology.
