This is silly. It's a fu@ckin Katana. There's bound to be one fu@kin Katana in Nevada. This is not the Tri Force Sword from Zelda were talkin about. It's a primative weapon that originated in Japan. My God. There were Katanas in the United States long before Wolrd War II. Americans would buy them in Japan and then bring them back to the states or Japanese immigrants in the US already had them. They were even made in the United States in those days. Americans would also train in Japanese dojos and then go back to the states and start their own schools. There was an exchange of culture going on between the two countries since the 1800's.
A useable one would be incredibly difficult to track down. The forging process for these "primitive weapons" is incredibly difficult and time-consuming. Folding a very precise mixture to get appropriate steel a thousand times, with perfect dimensions, tensile strength (they aren't rigid, they're springy), ect, is a process that only rich collectors can really pay for these days.
A real Katana will cost you thousands.
