A guy moved in whilst I was shopping for new stripey socks.
For some reason, this made me grin

(
I like stripey socks too)
I lived in halls last year and am also not a clubber, not just because I don't like drinking (only ever have a little glass on occasions such as New years), also because I'm sensitive to loud noise, don't like commotion and being around large groups of people, and simply get bored quickly. Was friendly with the other flatmates and they didn't judge me for not clubbing with them (though they occasionally still tried to get me to come).
The only issue I had with clubbing was when they came back drunk in the early hours, banging on doors and yelling through the door partition to the other flat and generally not keeping it down, especially aggravating when I had to hit the studio at 8am next morning.
Half of my flatmates were awful at keeping the kitchen tidy aswell. To sum up, after the term had ended (but contracts for halls still went on), they had left for a while, leaving all their stuff there, including dirty dishes. Me and one other were left to clean the kitchen after a complaint from the wardens. We had to throw some of the dishes away, after weeks of sitting there they had started to grow their own colonies.
I hated living in halls.
