A friend pre ordered both our versions and he already got the confirmation mail that it's been dispatched. That said I hope that it's here tomorrow (considering I'm not in the UK :ahhh: )

I actually got the Amazon confirmation that my order of Skyrim had shipped while I was on lunch at work a little while ago.

I have only ever had one problem with an Amazon delivery, but it is one among hundreds, and it wasn't a release-day video game.

Amazon is a fail. Does no one know this?

I deal with Amazon on a regular basis and never had any problems with them :intergalactic: ...Ebay on the other hand :homestar: .

But joedjoejoe might be right... probably is.

I buy just about everything online and they're one of the best online retailers by far. Your post is fail.

Anyway, I have an order history with those guys a mile long and they've always been great. Their customer service department has consistently bent over backwards to make sure I'm happy with my transactions.

Yes. And it shows as shipped today, Nov 10. I suspect it will arrive on time on Nov 11. Because Amazon has come though in the past.

EDIT: The only other retailer that comes to mind that impresses me as much as Amazon is Newegg. Both equally great in my experience. Huzzah for Amazon!

Mine shows that as well. I ordered Arkham City CE from them with release day shipping and got it release day, and the tracking history didn't even update and show shipped until late the day before. I trust Amazon.

I have to say that that the U.S. Amazon really came through. I ordered Skyrim with "release date delivery" and saw today on the Internet that they must have flown it from the warehouse (it took one hour to travel from Kentucky to Michigan) and that it's being delivered this morning. All my previous Amazon orders have been sent by truck.
