Am I the only one losing interest in FNV?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 4:46 am

Hmm... in all fairness it reminded me of Kavatch, a week after first visiting Nipton something should have happended, new residents, scavengers whatever.

i agree, nipton should of had some scavengers or faction move on in afterwords, to just leave it empty the entire game doesn't make a lot of sense.

Yup, but I think that the deadline was too short for them to focus on the aftermath of things and instead focused on the first impression.

Hmm, it would made sense *at least* for Obsidian to spawn some NCR patrols in there. You know, after you report to Ghost.

@Ace Hanlon

Lighten up, I was just trying to bring a less-serious mood into the discussion. Even if it's a childish one.
And good job on dodging my question again.

True.

But I expected SM's and Nightkin patrols to spawn around Black Mountain after I killed Tabitha.
Hopefully Obsidian can patch stuff like that in. (Free content :D )

Unlikely. The only time I've seen a pacth adding more (free)content was with the Witcher. :(

No...you were just making it worse. And being childish was just making it worse also... This kinda stuff irritates the [censored] out of me.

Don't they already spawn there, though? I fast traveled to BM sometime after snuffing Tabitha and got torn to shreds by 6 nightkins. That was before the big patch, though, and I haven't visited BM since so it may have changed...

Nah they've always respawned at BM, I meant that they would stop spawning there and occasionally spawn "around" BM. (Remember the ending slider.)

Not really, becasue I have not played New Vegas in a month. And I never played a whole lot so its still a fairly fresh game to me. I don't play games to death I just play a couple hours a week to keep it fresh.

you not playing it kinda speaks for itself, a really good game would have sparked more interest from a lot more people and had a lot more replayability, i expected a lot more from new vegas, the environment was just too static and non interesting, the desert was way too empty, so as an open world game its broken in my opinion, not only are there not enough human enemies to fight, or no random encounters, there's a lack of interesting areas, prob 90% of the map is empty, and not just empty of enemies, empty of everything, no good hiding places, or places to sneak around, no good places to fight enemies, very few places to explore, no random events, well guys at least the game is plausible and believable, and after all, those are the most important elements of any game as we all know.

Ya, it is boring, I know exactly who's going to say what, when, where, and at what time. Not very fun and re-playable,Heres something random how do you know what really happened at the end of FNV do you just wait for the next game to come out or do they pull out stats of what happened, or what?

Do not put words of their mouth west,

Seriously

There isnt a SOLELY AND ONLY post, On EVERY THREAD where you arent bashing NV

You are just derailing the thread

Fallout 3 is not a good game, get over it, not all of us like it, stop acting like everything round around you head

we're just making some constructive critiscism of new vegas, this thread is about us losing interest in the game, and most of us are in agreement the game does get boring rather quickly, its not trying to be mean to anyone, we just want a better product from obsidian, they need to listen to these tips on how to make a fallout game so next time they make one it will have a lot more replayability and the majority will be happy.

There's nothing really constructive in your posts, though. There are a few valid points there, but the load of ignorant arrogance and unwillingness to address and discuss those points eats you credibility and the intended contructivism of them. And the constant spamming of the same block of text in every thread you can possibly put it doesn't really help either.. Your like some standing in the crossroads handing fyers to people and shouting parrot cries.

RDR I havent played i over a month, still a damn fine game.
Your argument fails, when I played falllout NV for months what wasnt I playing DAO, its a great game, I am not playing hal oreach atm, great game. Your not playing argument fails.

Not plausible, atleast not until the inventor of robots builds a huge casino with lasers to shoot down missiles.
