Don't all dungeons have puzzles some way or another?

Because that's basically what Dead Money is, just way more fun and without stupid brick labyrinths.

i can see the fun in the dlc for some people, the posion gas was a big annoyance and the beeping collar was annoying, dungeons generally you can take your time and sneak around, go slow, to me dead money i felt rushed.

Not Bethesda dungeons, unless you consider finding a key or a switch to open a particular locked door a puzzle. Frankly, I don't think anything in Dead Money really qualifies as a puzzle either. Avoiding toxic gas and running past or shooting speakers is more arcade-like than puzzle-like; a puzzle would be something that forces you to stop and think for a bit like the Tower of Hanoi puzzle in Knights of the Old Republic.

of course i am, ive already done everything in the game both as NCR/EW ans CL/Guns. what else is there to do?

Personally I think it would be an even bigger mistake if they rushed out the additional content whether it's DLC or expansion so fast that it was bug ridden and poorly designed. Need I remind people of the debauchle of Fallout 3's DLCs when they were released with The Pitt being one big mess of missing texture symbols when it first came out, Operagtion Anchorage when released for the PC was a broken Alpha build of it.

Would you rather get DLC/Expansion that the Devs had taken the time to ensure were as complete and bug free as they could or that they rush them out half done full of bugs because the instant gratification crowd were demanding them yesterday.

Indeed, the Fallout 3 DLC was one disaster after another. I still remember how the initial release of the Pitt was completely unplayable for many people (myself included) because of a glitch that always caused a CTD when you approached the train tunnel.

Regardless, if someone is bored the best thing to do is move onto another game until the DLC comes out. Seriously, New Vegas isn't going anywhere and spending some time away from it may actually help make playing the DLC more enjoyable when it does come out.

I keep going back to it, and trying different things, one guy being a riflemen, a warrior, plasma, idk....I just want a new DLC already, I'm so ready, and have been so ready for a new DLC already.

Not really, its a pretty deep game if you ask me.

It's his right to feel that way, and you don't have to feel the need to jump in and "correct him."

I go 'Oh look, another stim in a pile of 100.' when I get a stimpack in FO3.

People nowadays simply dont want to use their minds to think and their just want to pick a gun and shoot to kill if a game dont have that, then it svcks on sight

Enjoy it while it last because in my opinion it's going to get old fast, then your going to have to put up with people saying just play the DLC or better yet, don't play it that much put away don't play it to death like it going to get better over time like a fine wine. :rofl: Because I know I have played Fallout 3 to death and beyond and guess what I still play it, same for all my other favorite games hell im still stuck on my game cube playing Eternal Darkness.

Play another game.

Go back to fallout at a later date.

56 says its boring now and 43 aren't bored yet, could almost 60% be wrong? and thats on the new vegas forum, i would think most people on this forum would still be having a blast with new vegas, its looking like obsidian ignored what most people really wanted in a fallout game, which is mainly exploration and an interesting environment, they ignored those important elements of the game, most people don't want a empty environment with next to nothing in it. thats doens't give you much to do and the story doesn't come close to making up for the lack of things to do in the game, lets all hope a big lesson was learned here by obsidian.

Ok, lemme voice my displeasure at Wests last post.

1. Where did you get the "Most" from? If you get a poll on this site saying "What is the best Fallout game," Fallout 1 is sure to win big time. FNV sold many more copies than FO3.

2. "Mainly exploration?" What the [censored]? Excuse my salty speech, but what the hell? Most people as I said before like FO1 on this forum, so they clearly want many great quests.

3. How is FO3's world interesting? I live in D.C, and Bethesda totally failed at it. It was a copy pasted mess.

4. How is there a lack of things to do? The entire [censored] map is filled to the brim with great quests, hell, many more quests than FO3. There is no lack of stuff to do.

5. Lets hope Bethesda learned a HUGE lesson from FNV, people want Fallout to be the way it was!

Seriously NV is pretty much the smae as fallout 3 gameplay wise, people need to get over that.

Most people who like the originals on this site are not from NMA.
