Why arearen't you a werewolf?

I'm a guy playing a video game. Last time I checked, werewolves aren't real.

Oh, you mean the character I'm playing in the game? He's a High elf mage and joining a bunch of hairy barbarians is beneath him.

I did it solely for roleplay reasons. I'm enjoying it for those same roleplaying reasons, and will one day chronicle all of it diary style. (I've got the raw notes, just haven't bothered doing the blog.)

That being said, I'm not sure if I'll do it again. I like being able to loot things. I like being able to use my map screen. I also would have liked to be able to revert on cue once I got the ring. I'm a console user, so barring a major change of mechanics via either a mega patch (bloody unlikely) or something creative DLC-wise, I'm kind of stuck.

The sole character I have may or may not cure herself. She's very torn right now on which way is the right way to go. She loves the power, and to a degree the wild abandoned bloodlust...but she's worried that she's losing a piece of herself to the beast. Plus..Sovngarde. That one's eating at her pretty bad, considering she was a secret Talos worshipper before finally crossing the border into Skyrim.

Role playing reason's. My Character is a Paladin, it wouldn't make sense.

But it opens another door in role playing, since he experienced being one, he feels sorry for them. As he once too, craved to hunt for blood. So rather than kill and condemn them to the hunting grounds, he would help a Lycanthrope banish their curse.

I tried being a werewolf, had a bit of fun. mostly took advantage of the disease-less nature of it, But, after the main quest... well, looking at who i met There i decided Hircine's realm isn't right for me.
liked the way that everyone was still as strong/smart/etc. as the day they arrived, planning battles with each other to keep their skills ready, and so on.

So yeah, my character's pretty much complete, only regret is the side i took in the war now i've realised how unvaried and boring they seem in comparison.
Next step? no thieves guild questline for me, i'm off back to the portal.

well i am atm but the fact is the ablity scales really badly supposedly and the skill buff from sleep is probably better in the long run.

the only really handy thing about it is you cant get catch vampirism.

Like the topic says! Give me your reasons for each option.

I'm not because King Gillette isn't around yet.
