I am one because they offer 100% disease resistance.

I'm a Khajiit. There's something wrong with being a Cat that turns into a Dog.

I'm not a werewolf.

Mainly because I seemed to die too often when I transformed (I think its because I leveled up magicka -not health- for a long time).

I would much prefer the sleeping bonus

I got up to the part where you become a werewolf and I refused. My character isn't a species-ist but he doesn't want his blood tainted. He will now keep his distance from that particular group of people. So really that quest line just stopped for me, but that's okay because I'll be trying it out with future characters.

I'm at the part where I am offered the werewolf guise, but am unsure. Is it irreversible? Can one continue with the Companions advancing w/o being one?

I took the Companions' 'gift' because it allows me to clear areas of enemies without taking a single hit, and allows me to take out dragons incredibly fast with sprint attacks.

That being said, from a RP perspective my character is a hunter, and a follower of Hircine; he relishes the thought of going to Hircine's eternal hunting grounds upon his death. Besides, one of my werewolf characters is Imperial, do they even go to Sovngard?

Because I'm a Talos, Akatosh and Azura worshipper Nord. I wanna end up in Sovngarde after a glorious battle and not in Hircines realm like a filthy beast!!
I hate Hircine since Bloodmoon. -_- I think he was the greatest threat before the Oblivion Crisis.

For me i cant choose btween vampire or werewolf :/ so im making my char normally a sneak type, but then im getting werewolf and doing all the missions and when i get to the end im gonna make 2 save files. one who keeps werewolf and one who cures it, and make the cured one a vampire and play each char seperately to see which i like better. the vamp will help my sneak but the werewolf will help me survive in those tough dungeons i cant beat. Also im a dunmer so i got 50% fire resist so as a lvl 1 vampire with -25% fire and +25% frost resist i have no weaknesses :)

2. An eternity as hircines pet... Will pass.

TBH I dont join the thives guildfor similar reasons, atleast the ide of being nocturnals minion. If I saw her domain and could judge it for myself maybe. Alos I hate the guild.

Because my character is a servant of the Nine, not Hircine. Stendarr in particular, and the axioms of the Vigilants of Stendarr are pretty clear on supernatural abominations. They threaten the lives of mortals and we must defend Mundus against them.

For me it's to have my cake and eat it too. I wasn't too happy when I read about the Great War, but wanted to keep my allegiance to the Empire due to the great time I had playing Oblivion.

So being a werewolf lets me stay with the Imperial side in the civil war, yet also ambush and kill the Thalmor whenever they cross my path. It's about the only time I use the werewolf ability.

To be able to kill those even within your own faction without discovery as to your real identity makes having the werewolf "perk" one of the games best under-rated feature.

I don't get how people can think the werewolf isn't awesome in combat. Being a werewolf means you have a permanent win card when fighting human enemies. So far, every single one bows to my roar and ever single one runs away, allowing me to pounce on them and take them out without any damage. The same thing happens when fighting trolls, wolves, bears and sabercats. The only things I've tried it on that hasn't worked are mammoths, giants and dragons, and even then, the sprint attack is so powerful that it can kill them, and you don't suffer from lack of armour because they'd often one shot you anyway (well giants and mammoths would, dragons die extremely quickly vs a werewolf).

The only reason not to use it is if you want to level your skills, or the fact you don't have high 1h skill means your beast form isn't all that strong.

Out of two evils, being a werewolf is the lesser one. They don't strike me being fancy and whiny emos, yet.

I was and am not. I did not understand the Z roar option, so clearing that first change dungeon was hard. a pain in the ass. so it left a bad taste in my mouth. when the opportunity arose, I cured myself.

I will eventually do another playthrough where I use it more.

but I sure don't want to die and goto hircine's plade. I want to die and go be with nocturnal.
