LMAO! Whats wrong with loot? My husband calls me a "Loot Wh*re." When he plays I am constantly saying, "You missed a chest back there." He laughs and says, "Honey, I think you have a looting problem."

there is absolutely nothing wrong with loot....however, when i'm playing, if i'm in town smithing or enchanting i get "go in a cave or somthing....you're boring" and when i go to a cave i will leave enemies behind when i think they don't have anything worthwhile. to which she says "that bandit/falmer/mage might have a really awesome sword/staff/armor" and continues to back seat drive till i look at every chest and body.

The other day I thought I would start skipping some chests because I hadn't found anything good in a while. Like two chests later I randomly find a Daedric Chestpiece.

You're right, most guys are thrilled usually, though some say "Wow, you play games? I mean...you're a girl!". No kidding!! Gee, I didn't know!! :verymad: But yeah it's mostly girls who don't find it suitable. My best friend says "Go out and get a life/bf/whatever" every time I tell her about a video game. So I just quit talking about games to her, and recently I was so thrilled to find another friend from my class (I'm in law school) who has been a gamer as long as I have and still is  I remember when we first met (we had gone along with mutual friends out for coffee) we were talking about Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2, and our other friends were just staring at us like we were speaking in an alien language!! Hahahaha it was actually funny to look at!!

I know what you're talking about when it comes to your language. Greek has the same form as well, and I know it's natural to be mistaken in an English forum where you can't know the gender from context, but to be confused in your own language with such a detailed verbal form? That must be annoying! So far I think I've been lucky when in Greek forums, I haven't been mistaken for a guy, but I know what you mean. Good luck staying calm with that!

Your friend still is banana?

Wacky Wheels. I love that game...

Edit: I tried to get my girlfriend to play games countless times but I don't really have success so far. Console games work better (I don't have a console), but at soon as I start to win, she gets angry . But I will never give up. Right now I am in China, she is back home, so I did not have a chance to convince her of this gem.

I remember begging my dad to play Wacky Wheels with me when I was little (I don't have any siblings). I lost most of the time but it was always fun!
Don't give up, keep trying, let her win a few as well, eventually you'll be able to turn her around and she'll love video games! They are the best!

Pics with timestamps and usernames written on signs or skin - or it didn't happen.

Well unfortunately I don't have such pics, I was too busy playing, getting my ass kicked in Crash Team Racing and kicking ass in Tekken

Guys have two brains but only enough blood to power one at a time?

Yep, that one!!

Your friend still is banana?

Hahahahahaha that really made me laugh! Good one  Of course, the specific banana-smiley was not to be taken literally. Here, misunderstanding cleared

I got my girlfriend to play Skyrim for 1.5 hours and it was the best 1.5 hours of my life. I'll be fantasizing about that for the rest of my life.

No need for free porm anymore?

Seriously though, I feel for guys who cannot get their better half to play video games or to stick with em.

Because that whole "Arrow in the Knee" thinsg went viral on You Tube before she even order the game for me. My wife is also a gamer, but diferent genre's appeal to her.

My gf said my character was hot, and that she'd totally do him....not sure what to make of that.

Isn't it obvious? It's a hint she wants you to work out more.

Loot Wh*re? Is that the way a gamer calls his wife a gold-digger?

So yesterday was my day off from work, I had planned to play Skyrim all day but then the girlfriend called and said I had to either meet her for lunch or she would come round later. I went with the first option hoping to spend an hour or two with her then get back to the game.
But I was deceived...
After lunch she wanted to come back home with me anyway.
She let me play ONE HOUR of Skyrim when we got back and that was it! My only regret is that I didn't play more the evening before. I should have known a whole day for Skyrim was too good to be true.

Wish I had one of you guys girlfriends/wives. Mine considers playing a game for an hour a day to be more than enough. An RPG at that! :swear:
