I can't be the only Thalmor fan, can I?

heh Dovahkiin get the help of Paarthurnaax (sp?) and other dragons and get backed by Ulfric and the Stormcloakcs and all of skyrim and hammerfall and rofl-stomp the Thalmor t'would be epic! But realisticly I think the Skyrim should be taking the fight to the Thalmor and make them suffer a humiliating defeat if not utter destruction.

I hate their guts too be honest. And I wished they still had that entire string of negative racials they used too have. We'll see about that superiority of yours once I turn the elements against you and your weaknesses!
hell I love them..especaily when they run in fear of my blood soaked blade as I cut down every single elf in their embasy and on the road. Long Live the Empire

We have the strongest wizards in all of Tamriel. Plus we have the Khajiit. As disgusting as they are, they're useful cannon fodder.

Telvanni > Altmer as a whole.

You're only making me wonder how Martin was able to use the Amulet. None of the other Septims were Dragonborn and Uriel VII/Martin were not even really related to Tiber.
This is addressed in in-game books. Dragonblood is a blessing of the gods, not passed genetically.

I know it's not passed genetically, which is why I started to wonder how Martin used the Amulet. But if Martin was blessed by the Divines, then it makes sense. (That last part was what I was getting confused about. I thought the only two recent Dovahkiin were Tiber Septim and the PC.)

An undead Thalmor killing other Thalmor is even better :hehe:
They groan so sweetly.

Sap a Thalmor wizard's magicka and they're just another sparklefingers in a skirt.

The Psijics could run rings around them and it's apparent from Ancano's shenanigans that the Thalmor are just trying to keep up. They remind me of the school bully that relies on everyone being afraid of him to sustain his bluster. If Mede had capitalized on his victory, they'd have been exposed as frauds. Powerful ones, but not that powerful.

I tried to play a completely evil character - I killed people who needed to die, I stole from the poor, I ate my victims, and I still couldn't bring myself to like the Thalmor.

All the legitimate Septims were dragonblood, so it was likely Martin would have been able to. It seems to be a case where you know it when you see it- if they can light the Dragonfires, they're of dragon blood.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:The_Book_of_the_Dragonborn the relevant book quote I was thinking of.
Very few realize that being Dragonborn is not a simple matter of heredity - being the blessing of Akatosh Himself, it is beyond our understanding exactly how and why it is bestowed. Those who become Emperor and light the Dragonfires are surely Dragonborn - the proof is in the wearing of the Amulet and the lighting of the Fires. But were they Dragonborn and thus able to do these things - or was the doing the sign of the blessing of Akatosh descending upon them? All that we can say is that it is both, and neither - a divine mystery.
The line of Septims have all been Dragonborn, of course, which is one reason the simplistic notion of it being hereditary has become so commonplace. But we know for certain that the early Cyrodilic rulers were not all related...

I hate the Thalmor, and love the Psijic Order. Talos is a god, how else could we have used the blood of an Aedra in Oblivion?

Well, i thought only someone of dragonblood ( or dragonborn ) could wear the amulet of kings, other wise it just falls off.. and Uriel was able to wear it so.. yea he must of had Dragonblood or been dragon born.
