You still have to find the places to actually be able to travel there. I use it, it's convenient.

I have always been fast travelling, but it seems like its possibly the worst thing to do, because you miss so many stuff that are hidden and the beautifulness of skyrim.

So do you think I should stop fast travelling?
And what are your thought on it, yay or nay?
If you have never done anything but fast travel, then you never left Helgen. You can reach no other destination on the map except by not fast traveling.

By not fast traveling, you discovered the Guardian Stones, Bleak Falls Barrow, a pack of wolves, some ingredients, Riverwood, and Whiterun. You might have run into a trio of Imperial soldiers escorting a prisoner. Maybe you attempted a rescue. Was wandering worth it, or would you have preferred to just keep on fast traveling to Helgen?

Just wander some more. It is often fun. If you start feeling bored with it, then fast travel to a place with more action.

I say yay, I mean, if you're going from one city to the next in order to do a specific quest, and you have been that route many times, I would find it boring to travel it again. Also, after 20 hours or so, even with fast traveling, you have still seen a large portion of the world.
