When have YOU used storm call?

I use it practically every time that there is more than 3 enemies. It is my favorite shout.

Quite honestly I forget I have the shouts, that's how uninspiring they are to me.

Kinda understand what you mean. Especially when I'm playing my pure mage and I have other similar powers as well. I think the recovery time after a shout also makes me "forget" them for a while, too. Pretty much the only shout I use even namely frequently would be the good ol' trademark Unrelenting Fus-Ro-Dah that always comes to my mind when there's an animal or a hostile animal/NPC next to a drop with a long way down...

On topic, I think I used Storm Call yesterday the first time without saving/loading. I only recently got it legitimately maxed with a character for the first time, so I decided to try it out to see if it could clear the whole Karthspire Camp off Forsworn. It couldn't. It was still very lame in terms of its range.

I guess whomever it hits, it hits pretty hard. Still, the lightnings didn't mainly even kill those high-level Forsworn closest to me without my Destruction assistance, so I was overally kinda disappointed of this "The Most Epic of All Shouts'" full potential. :( Also the recovery time is so long I won't be using it for a while. Maybe I'll test it again on a smaller scale sometime, but will not use it as a weapon. My Destruction + Conjuration + Illusion magic is muuuch tougher than that storm. Visually the shout is pretty cool though, but that's not enough reasons for me to begin to use it.

When I got the first word and tried to hit a dragon flying around. Ended up killing Lydia and didn't even nick the dragon.

That made me laugh. Very typical thing to happen though. I've only used it once when I first unlocked it just to see what it would do but no one was around.

I just used it with my mage character as he attacked the Lost Valley Redoubt (with the leap). I have no companions but quickly summoned a storm atronach and began throwing around chain lightnings and thunderbolts as the sky tore them apart. Suffice to say there was a very pretty lightshow, and lots of ash piles all over the place :D
