I agree 100% with the armour issue. Well, except in Fallout 3. I find the raiders in skimpy armour just serves nicely to re-enforce the fact that they're dumb as bricks. My female characters prefer to look bad-ass an that means questing in the most efficient gear possible.

I think the notion of imposing a sense of how the world works on more fantasy artists would work well not only for amour, but just about everything in games and on TV. Why does my house in Solitude have vaulted ceilings that aren't correctly constructed? Why do dungeons always have piles of rubble in places with no signs of structural collapse? Why is there always fresh fruit next to the lit candles in sealed draugr tombs? Why can't my female wear pants?
