Could be neat, but I don't take my "oooh gaming lore" as seriously as some here....

If we don't know, that only means the writers have a door open for exploration. Wouldn't you like to go from "I don't know" to "Now I know"?

It wouldn't even break lore if one of the talking deatclaws made an appearance. Because, as you yourself say, we don't know what happened. We have no idea. So if one of them shows up, we might actually get an answer about what happened.

Look at star wars, George Lucas came back and broke the lore in the new sequels, And look how Successful the franchise is, Better then it ever was. a star wars game alone has one million sells, so yup.

to a lot of people, theres no such thing as "episodes" 1, 2, and 3 and that the only Star Wars are the 3 that came out in the 70's and 80'
to me they are just poorly written, Lazily directed Tech Demos in the same vein as LOTR spin offs.

broke of lore has a all new meaning to me since yesterday when i ended Dragon Age Origins and started the wakening importing a char from the main game really imagine my surprise when my dead dead warden was alive and kicking again :/ i will never complain about Obsidion or Bethseda small story holes till they pull something like that on me

But Awakening tell the story of the Grey Warden IF you survived, whats the point of playing an imported char who died in the vanilla game? a zombie? a Darkspawn Warden?

In all fairness, you should have been able to pick the Orlais Warden background if your Warden died and you wanted to import a save game. Picking the Orlais Warden background forced you to go with a preset history where Alistair is King, among other things.

Awakening and Dragon Age II sort of did break the Dragon Age lore. I'm not sure how talking Deathclaws are related though; like them or not talking Deathclaws did exist in the Fallout world at one point, no official source has contradicted that (yet).

since they give me the option to import a char i tougth they had a lil more cunning writing the expantion, like finding the dead Wardens gear in the keep like in his tumb or something or being hable to use his gear has you are suposed to be the new warden commander

that is a fact they did exist lets see if they fallow the bible or not, allso the bible is a lil harsh has how they disapered so a good writing would probably go arround that detail
