The kid was funny. Everyone has their noob moments when they first play Fallout games, thinking they can just run into the first city they find with their .10 mm pistol and kill everything in sight. Interesting to see how the NPC design has developed, though I'm not particularly concerned with how unique their facial structure is if the voice acting can keep characters interesting.
Why is everyone so down on endurance?
Endurance was designed to be useful in the classic games, when enemies were capable of shredding you in a single critical blast unless you had a massive health reservoir. Enemy damage has been so massively nerfed in Fallout 3 that you can basically use Stimpacks to outheal any enemy damage, making Endurance a bit of a gimmicky stat to use.
Extremist stat setups in general seems to be highly discouraged in the 3D games. Strength minimums for weapons have been added for New Vegas, so if you want to use more than Small Guns you should have at least 6 STR. I'm assuming Intelligence and Agility are going to be the most significant combat oriented primary stats, as they were in the last game...
