Prometheus capes

Post » Mon May 28, 2012 3:15 am

Do you ahve the latest version ? This is due to the morphing wich I think I have solved in latest version as I replaced with the same cape anyway do you use a female may be? I I think I forgot to update it for females perhaps...

It was a good while ago that I used it so maybe not. I was playing as a male Khajiit, but I think the NPC was a female.

Yes the female version I think I forgot to update later today I check if I can fix for both males and females and end the problem of the morphing once and for all ... as for the disappearing capes do you have any clue on what coul dthat be ? my hypothesis is if they use/cover the slot for the necklace like removing it for not making it appear clipping with the armor but I am not sure ...

Nice, very nice. Please, may I make some Westeros-themed tourney capes add-ons for your mod when the CK will be out? My hands are already ithching for the Clegane hounds and Greyjoy kraken.

I have uploaded a new version 3.4 this one shoudl fix the morphing problems for the female version so now it should work for all , males and females....

It remains to be fixed the problem about some armors ( the full suits ones ) that remove one slot for the amulet , this prevents the appearence of the cape .... I may hack the armors and remove that slot or just wait the CK ... or Add it nicely to one armor , I already made the morphing over the nordplate and looks quite nice ...

If someone figures out how to make appear the capes let me know but I suspect they do not appear because some full suits occupy the slot for the amulet show up to not show it extruding .....

I also made a larger bulkier version that coul dgo on most armors , but it woudl look like floating a bit above the body for some others...

Gimme. There is an intense lack of capes in Skyrim.

If you open up the esp in Skyedit and go to the armor section you'll see a list of armor. Then click the box for body parts. You can select multiple parts, so I imagine that both amulet and chest are selected.

a question you asked on the nexus, I would always prefer an independent cape as opposed to the craftable having a cape no cape option simply because most of my armor is modded so it wouldn't do me any good any other way. (Nexus never posted my comment)

Ok but the hindrance is that it may or may not be perfectly fitting on the character and , possibly , it coudl take one slot for the amulets ...

I've noticed the amulet thing, and as of yet I have found no solution. Unfortunately this seems like it'll just be a wait for CK thing. One of my favorite combos with your cape can be seen here, and there is some clipping. Perhaps you could do a version with the cape tailored to it? (With the author's permission of course) its viewable here. http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5588 Its the craftable seltkirk armor

the images with your cape are the most recent http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198050460892/screenshots/

Yes but honestly , altough those armors look great , Iam not a fun of them for two reason , one is that are just imported from another game , and second because they don't really fit for the Skyrim theme .... Skyrim is more barbaric and frontier world .... those armors are from a late renaissence style m and don't really look proper to my opinion ...

anyway to make an adaptable cape to every single varaition that every person does is really not easy .....

Anyway I found a fix for the cape not appearing on some armors , I just need the list of the armos that do not work ...

The other variant I could do is a higher version that can fit better .....

Another idea isa an ingame setting with a script but I have no idea if this is possible ... like summon a cape spell fitting that allows you to increment the size of the item by 5% or - 5% or move its position on body .... but is just brainstorming , I have no idea if this is possible ....

but another good new is that I may have found a way to make the cape float ....

I like the armor from that game for a couple reasons, it looks non restrictive, and warm. as far as it looking renaissance-like, thats the beauty of retextures. Just make it look beat up and darker and voila! it fits into skyrim just fine. (also, it may look renaissance-y but at least it isn't huge and tacky like glass)

I understand its likely impossible for you too make capes custom tailored for every request, but two hand weapons seem to have some sort of code that tells them how far to rest off an armor. Dunno if you can do something similar or not.

One armors that does not work for sure is the wolf armor.

These look fantastic, Prometheus - seem like they would be a great fit with Chesko's Frostfall.

Not sure if it would require Chesko to make a patch or not but do you know if your capes will reduce exposure to the cold in Frostfall?

Atm I have removed the Tail , but in a future version I plan to make a compatible cape tail to rig it so that will follow the tail movements and not clip ....

Hey Prometheus

I was wondering, would it be possible to add a scarf to the Dragonplate armor? Like this - http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/images/2061-1-1322634267.jpg . If yes maybe You would be interested in making one :P ?
