RCRN Has already very nice balanced colors, but as always someone like to play some more with the colors, and may not want to edit the injector .h file, so combined with The Imaginator it′s now really easy to adapt rcrn to the desired results.. here 3 examples where the saturation was raised a bit.

Dynamic DOF doesn't mean Bokeh dof!
Our dof changes in relation with the weather, not in relation with a "focus", you can experience it during cloudy/foggy/stormy days

Yeah.. Depth of Field, check the Trees at the end of the Landscape.. how "blurry" or not it gets depending of the weather conditions... in the Video you dont even see all the conditions, f.e. foggy weather, were it gets really noticeable. If you want the other DOF , changing the Focus depending if you are close to something or not, we recomment to use Dynavision along with it.

I wouldn't recommend Dynavision at this point. The effect is crude and it doesn't focus properly. Perhaps with some improvements it would work better.

My experience with torches for realistic lighting and candlelight spell with RCRN is that the torches had a greater radius (as expected) and the candlelight spell radius was small (probably as it should be). My preference is not to use a torch (so I could use a shield) and just stick with candlelight. But the candlelight spell has a small radius and does not use the colors I would expect (yellowish similar to a torch flame).

So if it is working well for you, we either have different perceptions of what to expect (most likely :) ) or something else is messing up my visual lighting (possible). I do not use any other mods that would necessarily mess this up, unless HD texture mods do. I have a similar experience in Oblivion using Ampol's high rez cave textures. The torches used in there and light spells used, all work at 40% efficiency. So I guess my test should be to remove my HD textures and see if they affect my experience.

For The record I use the DLC HD textures and the Skyrim HD pack (the popular one).

Either way, this is a great mod and my choice for lighting.

Well Peter ID, seems like there was no Mod about increasing candlelight range around Nexus.. so I just did one and added some optional fun colors to it ^^ , I hope your problem its solved this way

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=13550

Edit: I will also do a "yellowish similar to a torch flame" file if you want.. we just need to agree what color exactly are you looking for ;)

You are awesome, thanks. Downloaded now and will try this in game. I went back to Oblivion for a while (the game updates just got on my nerves) but I will try it this morning.

EDIT: Works like a charm :) I think the vanilla color with 2x range and longer duration works best. Only alternative I see that may be popular is a torch light color (yellowish), as candlelight suggests a flame color. Thanks for making this.

Nice. I can make the candlelight have the same color as the actual torch in game.. maybe more yellow and less red. i will do it in the coming days. Also People started to request, for the colores version, to have the orb colored aswell.. thats not so easy, but i will see what i can do ;)

I normally hate dof, for the same reason I hate motion blur or other stuff that my eyes already do, that is my eyes are ready do it. But this dof seems different, am I correct in saying that this DOF has nothing to do with faking what my eyes do, but simply enhances, hazy or foggy environments to look more realistic?

Correct, this is a blur effect to visualize foggy environments. You won't see it with any other type of weather. It's not related to simulate eye focus.

- solved an issue regarding markarth interiors

I unsubscribed after I entered a house outside Markarth. The interior was almost pitch black. Does this mean it's not anymore?

No problems in Markarth, here is an interior screenshot from RCRN Pure preset (the darker one): http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/4970/screenshot6975.png

Not sure if you're interested or not... but here's the latest version of my patcher, except, this one's tied in with the plugin name for your pure version.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/56852942/Realistic%20Lighting%20-%20RCRN.zip

There's some editing instructions inside. Of course, if you haven't edited an area listed, then it won't have an effect. But if you have any interest at all, it's there - only took a few moments to change, thought I might as well.

Makes it easier if you want to make quick changes, especially. It won't modify anything you have, it'll export everything into a RCRN Patch.

Edit: Oh, and target lum 2 is the same as white in the CK. And it only edits imagespaces, not the rest.

Hello Pluto, sorry for the late reply but i didn't check the beth forum for almost 2 days, we are near to release the new version and i'm a bit busy with it.
Thank you for your offer, i'll try it out asap, it's for sure a nice thing, but i need to test it a bit more, editing the RCRN .esp it's always a bit critical due his relation with the injector, so for users may be a bit hard play with it, anyway i'll evaluate it.

Oh i also need to speak with you regarding a project, i'll send you a PM with all the details during the next days (just after release, when i should have a bit more time :P)

thank you again!

Is there any way to add a bit of a film grain effect? I love how cinematic this mod makes the game, but that's the only thing I'm still missing. Great mod, btw, guys. This has best approached my vision of how Skyrim should look.
