12 reasons why MW3 will be the best game ever.

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 8:33 am

Activision doesn't change enough, so we hate them.

Bethesda changes too much, so Morrowind fans hate them.

I enjoyed COD4's campaign, and play through bits of it now and then. I have literally zero interest in its sequels, though.

no, as some one who enjoyed morrowind i hate that they don't add enough improvements per change. but thats not here or there.

It's the same game re-furbished and re-packaged for the past four years. GOTY.

1. Pointstreaks
2. Campaign
3. Grenade launcher with a scope on it
4. The multiplayer map Paris
5. No broken maps
6. Being able to toss grenades across the map to spawn kill the other team(most skilled thing EVER!)
7. You get to play the role of a marine
8. Cars can explode
9. It's a Call of Duty game
10. You can call in airstrikes and stuff like that
11. It is not battlefield or Oblivion 2.
12. You get to play as Delta Force.

Thoughts?

Honestly these are nto teh greatest or most coolset thing ever done. It'll be good, and I'll play it, but just like every CoD game and every game in general it will have its flaws.

To tell you the truth, none of these are the reasons I would have picked as to why its going to be good.

12. Playing as Delta Force is cool, but its not really anything spectacular.
11. That's hardly a point, the sequal to Oblivion, Skyrim, looks amazing.
10. You've always been able to do that in every CoD game, its nothing out of the ordinary. In BF3 you can fly the jet and be the airstrike yourself, its sweet bro.
9. Again not a good reason, just because its CoD doesn't mean it will be quality.
8. Again a staple of every CoD game since MW the Orginal.
7. Again like Delta Force its just a detail and has been in many other games.
6. I agree it can take skill, but thats not an exceptional feature that makes this game good.
5. We haven't played all the maps, even if you wer at CoD EXP you've only played 5, i believe, and only on a limited number of game modes.
4. Again, like being Delta Force or Marines. It a detail that has been done in many a game, as well as BF3
3. Cool but again nothing spectacular.
2. I agree, I would like to see the MW storyline come to a close and wrap up all the details.
1. This si arguably one of the only reasons listed that it will be an exceptional or better game.

These are my responses, I think there are other feautures I would say are cooler and make it better.

The game has even better grenade launchers now?
It has a more powerful version of the "ghost" perk?
It still does not have dedicated servers for console?
Cod Elite will make certain players earn more xp(among other things) than me because they pay 50 quid a year?

I could go on all day, but this will be the first Cod game I am not buying.I hope those of you that are exited about it will not regret it though.Have fun until the cheap tactics and perks are discovered.Week one is always the best time to play these games.

I also want to predict that after six months everyone will be playing black ops again.Every time a new one comes out, it is decided at some point that the last one was better.

I don't have a problem with CoD, it's just not my kind of game. Not enough teamwork, and not based enough around actual player skill. I can see why some people would like it though.

I think people think BF requires teamwork adn CoD doesn't, honestly in both games its optional.

In BF if I'm on a team with randoms there is no strategy, same with CoD.

But when I party up with friends, there is teamwork, covering, calling out enemies, etc... no matter what game I am playing.

The Greanade Launchers, just like in Blops are nerfed, and are rather bad.

The Assasin Perk, is the only MP aspect so far that I have been really concerned about.

I never had a problem without dedicated servers, so, yah.

COD Elite is honestly [censored], I'm not buying it because it adds little features for a ridiculous price. If you wanna buy it go ahead, I just disagree. Though how will they get extra XP?

And yes once Cheap Tactics are discovered, it will svck, but Im gonna spam Robert Bowling until he patches it.

And no, BLOPS was utter garbage. MW2 is the best game despite its cheap tactics, most of the asses have gone on to future games so its more fun now.

IMO, Activision just started milking it after COD4. They've just been releasing the same game over and over again with a slightly different coat of paint every year.

Not enough teamwork!!!

This is why I don't play CoD online :P.
As for the game itself----I don't mind CoD 4:MW and CoD:MW2 SP campaign and I'll probably get MW 3 just to play the story---but I'm also looking at BF 3, Skyrim and Batman: AA.

I'm not a big multiplayer guy. That said, the best COD for me was COD4 because I thought it had the best campaign.

If you're just getting MW3 for the story, I'd recommend just renting it if you can. If the last couple games are anything to go by, the campaign will be about 5 hours long.

I agree that CoD's MP is rather similar every year, but for me it's different enough to purchase every year. That being said my first MP CoD game was Black Ops, then I went back and picked up MW2 for 20 bucks, and CoD 4 for 10. So droppping the cash on MW3 is worth ti since I havent been playing the same game for the past 4 years, just 1.

As well, MW2 and 3 appeal to me alot because of the Spec Ops. Those missions were brutal, I spent alot of time on them and will do so again in MW3, along with this new Survival Mode thing.

People seem to think the game is only rehashed MP. The MP (though similar), paired with Spec Ops and singleplayer is enough to warrant a new game. I would just prefer though tha they took more time on each game.

And what makes BF3 so much different than BFBC2?

Though MW3 will probably be the last CoD i buy for a while.

I might do that----and I'll probably do that for BF 3...But Batman: AC-----that's going to be mine. I'm not a heavy BM fan but I do love stealth games :D .

Battlefield counterpart

1. Vehicles
2. Campaign
3. Grenade launchers with scopes have no purpose
4. The multiplayer map operation metro
5. No broken maps
6. Being able to have maps not ring enough to throw a grenade across the map
7. You get to play the role of a marine
8. Cars can explode
9. It's a battlefield game
10. You can be the airstrike and stuff like that.
11. It is not call of duty
12. You can be an former spetznaz member who speaks in Russian (authentic)

Thoughts?

@Wonderwombat, LOL.

But seriously, I want to hear from peopl what makes BF3 so much better than its most recent pre-deccesor BFBC2. Because to me, they both feel very similar.

Apparently it is much closer to battlefield 2. Oh yeah there is also more attachments, more weapons, more vehicles, and co-op opposed to call of duty's 4 new attachments and swapping out pf weapons instead of just adding more.

I can't tell if you are serious or not. You could already do most of that stuff.

Sorry, if this ticks anyone off, but the campaign's are utterly boring when compared to games like Mass Effect, Batman, Rage, or Crysis 1 and 2. There is just no enemy variety, gun variety, mission variety, or incentive to keep playing besides just seeing where the story goes. It's like playing duck-hunt, with updated graphics.

Also, there no such thing as Oblivion 2. :shakehead:

I've played BF2 quite extensively actually, but that was many years ago. So what sets if apart, and makes it so much more different than its predeccesor. Because to me it looks alot, and feels alot like past games.

That's cool that you think it will be the best. I sure won't, but okay. To each their own. (I have some... strong feelings about COD but a wise mother one said 'If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all.' I also don't want a warning)

CoD died when they left WWII

Call of Duty 2 was both the best in the series and the last good one.

CoD4 is the best multiplayer shooter I've ever played.
