return of fallout 3 charecters in dlc : Fallout: New Vegas

I don't want anyone from Fallout 3 in a DLC, how would they get from Washington D.C. to New Vegas in three years? Unless they turn north and travel through Wyoming, their route goes directly through Legion territory, which highly reduces the chances of anyone not strong enough continuing. (However, if they have survived this far, they should be very tough already)

Nobody's feeling Uncle Leo? He was already on the road when you met him. It's fairly likely...

How many, helicopter sized, aircraft do you know that can travel all the way across the United States? Vertibirds only have a range of 175 miles.

I think ED-E qualifies in this, technically. And that's how I would like my inter-game characters. Someone from a previous setting but with no canonical past.

It's unlikely that Desmond will return. according to the vault, after beating the main quest in point lookout and siding w/ him, he says he will travel north to take out his next enemy. If he's still going after people after 250 yrs, he probably hasn't killed his next target yet. If he has, he probably hasn't made his way to NV yet. Also, i just though of this: what if house was one of his enemies? the vault says that they all turned to different methods to try to survive after the bombs and house defiantly did that.

As much as I dislike House, he wouldn't play that stupid game. He's not that kind of guy, nor is he that stupid. Desmond might be better for a new game, a game where I hopefully get to execute him. And I also want to execute Plik (maybe after he sold out some ghouls to Barnaky's MWBOS I get to execute him for the MWBOS).

Probably we will see clolonel Autumn and Enclave. If he's alive and these considered as canon. Or possible other Enclave remnants
But possible there will be Fawkes or uncle Leo.

These location can be Arroyo. Why not? And there are chance to see Chosen One.
Arroyo now should look like in FO2 ending and become big city

I'd rather have Fallout 2 characters returning (Even though there's a 40 year timegap) since I don't know which Fallout 3 characters except BoS are capable of traveling across the US.

if you think about it there would be so much tech around all you would have to do is fix a Enclave bird, or normal plane.. Of course they would have to make the game open ended..

Fallout 3 characters should stay in the fallout 3 world. I don't think they would be a good match for each other.
