Saddest moments you came across?

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 1:17 pm

Uh, when Lydia died.
Yeah, it was sadder than I thought it would be. She got in my way while I was about to take a swing at a troll and I accidentally hit her.

This was in a cave, so I moved her body into a patch of sun; it seemed to be glowing. She died bravely in service to her Thane.

I was taking a stroll and Maiq the Liar appeared. And a thought occurred what does Maiq carry with him so I went to check his pockets. And what did I find? Skooma!!! Bethesda are you trying to tell us something?

I mean since Maiq says why and why not bethesda did specific developments in the game isn't he Bethesda? This makes me sad.

Had just finished this quest where you have to return this artifact back to a dwemer ruin. The story of the thieves trying to get fortune and fame but the dwemer ruin was just too cruel for them and they all had unfortunate endings, felt bad for them since they wanted to turn back but the leader of the group had other plans.

Playing hide and seek with a dead girl. To me that was a bit sad as well as disturbing.

Does anyone know where exactly this lake is? I've been trying to visit the place but I can't find her. Is her body directly south of Solitude, in the marshes where there are lots of mudcrabs and chaurus?
I don't remember exactly but I'll try to find it again for you...

The First Tyme You Meet Cicero & Mother, When Ol' Farmer Boy Want's You To Lie About Something Poor Cicero Did Not Do... Of Course I Did The Right Thing... The Music That Was Playing Had A Big Part In It, But Cicero Is My BESTEST FRIEND...

There Are More, but My Brain Just Went Durrr On Me......... To Be Continued'

I Remember Now... The Spider In The DB Sanctuary Near Falkreath... Sad I Cannot Confirm Whether He Or She Is Dead Or Alive... I Called Him Leg's.

Astrid Ask's You For Forgiveness And To Kill Her With The Blade Of Woe, I Was Sooo Ticked Off That She Would Do Such A Thing... Was Not Worthy To Die With The Blade Of Woe. I Took Out My Iron Dagger" Piece'O'[censored] " And Slaugtered Her With It... & Left Her & The Dagger There... What A [censored]
Good that you killed her like that. She is the one who sends me DB assassins. They always have the same note from an Astrid. She wants them to kill me though I never committed any crime. At level 52 I have only 2 items stolen and 11 assaults. That's all. Nothing else. So why is DB trying to kill innocents?? Reflect on that.. For me it's sad.

Because someone is paying them to. Nothing else matters.

I Think There Sending Assassins After You... Just My Personal Opinion Here, For The Fact You Escaped Helgen And Imperial Legion Puts A Hit Out On You, They Failed And Sooo Did The Assassins , Funny Thing Is Even After She Sent Them For Me & I Killed Them, I Joined And She NEVER Said A DAMN Word About It, Bet She Was Like Ooo' $h!t...

My charachter feels some sadness, but not a lot. The saddest moment for me was when Barbas, the dog, was banished from his master for no reason.

Hey everyone. First post weu

By far the saddest event for me to even watch was when Kodlak had died. I come back and there's silver hand all over the place and immediately my heart had dropped. I go inside and I see Kodlak and I couldn't believe it. I never put so much hate on myself before on a game. I constantly wanted to think that I could have saved him. I reforged Wuuthrad and from there on I killed every silver hand till I was content.

Or when your about to kill Aldiun and you see that guard and he is just so hopeless and says Alduin will get you. I'd look behind me and I saw a huge dark figure swoop down and get him. Skyrim is by far a true heartbreaker of a game. It really does get to you.

The chaurus lighthouse. It was the first quest I did in Skyrim. Before I left that place, after clearing it, I lifted the body of the mother and placed her on a bed. I didn't want to leave her in a freezing puddle on the cold stone floor. :(

I took a cart to Whiterun with my husband Onmund, forgetting that it was about to be attacked by the Stormcloaks. We arrived right in the middle of chaos. Onmund immediately stepped right in front of me and took the brunt of attack by the hoard of imperials that came running towards us. He died defending me. :( He took quite a few of those [censoreds] with him though.

http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Veezara. Why do my favorite characters always die. I really liked him, the only member of the DB I liked other then Astrid.

When I had to quit adventuring because I took an arrow in the knee..

When my map of the dragon burials fell through the floor and when I spent forever setting my house up only to find everything thrown around when I came back..

Yeah, it was sad...and almost creepy. I felt like I was intruding on something intensely personal.

I killed the shop keeper and his blacksmith wife in Whiterun for fun one night. The next morning all the children and several advlts were kneeling around their bodies putting their hands on the bodies and sad music was playing. I felt really bad for killing them.

Tolvald's Cave was pretty sad, if you care at all about the dunmer. Poor blokes were just trying to escape Red Mountain and ended up getting slaughtered. Some of them sacrificed themselves to save the others. Little things like this...

...another dream of Red Mountain erupting. People running as flaming rocks the size of cantons fell from the sky...

...can still see my brother's outstretched arm, as he tried to reach the silt strider and walked right out into the boiling waters...

...not just Vvardenfell, all of Morrowind was hit by the rocks. There's no work and no food will grow under the ashes. We are going to try for Skyrim...

...really hit me hard.

Every time i see dead Kahjiit caravans i get really sad. I don't like to think about dead kitties, it makes me think of my cat who died a few years ago :( , and the Kahjiit are so loveable...except for J'zhargo he's an ass.

I don't feel sad about killing them but the Falmer's backstory svcks. They get driven underground and then get betrayed and forced into slavery, thats really depressing honestly.

A woman, dead, with two bandits crouched over her, checking her stuff. I killed the bandits and looted them. One had an expensive amulet, enchanted. The woman had a note that the bandits stole it from her and it was her last item from her family, and even if it meant her death she would get it back :(.
