Should Skyrim have a trainer to reset your perks?

As long as it was either obnoxiously expensive or had some sort of timer on it, so you couldn't just do it over and over every time you wanted to change something.

I don't see a problem with it, those who want to use it have the option, and those who don't can just avoid it :) it's called self control people~

Or you could just port your save file to ur PC using Modio, open it up on the PC version and take away/give urself more perk points........ *shrug*

It's called choice and consequences why would you want to respec your character for to take the easy way out.

I say keep it out. This is supposedly to be an RPG on building a character of you want to play a different style make a new character.

This would be just another way to appease the crowd that is all for the hand holding.

Good question I think and would you take advantage of it.

It would cut down on the need to constantly create new characters but might hurt the longevity of the game.

Your thoughts?
Hurt the longevity? That really depends on the person. Some people will restart as a new character, and others will respec.

I have over 500 hours and still haven't completed the main quest yet.
It makes me laugh when people brag about not completing the main quest like their special, and it's an achievement. No one cares if you finished it yet or not.

I don't think it would work to well with the leveling system. Unless you also reset all the skills and get the option to redestribute those as well.

Personally I do not see the point in adding this feature. It wouldn't bother me, but it would take the consequence out of leveling up which is going against the reason they added them in the first place IIRC.

I honestly think they should keep it out, but add more perks so you don't feel as limited. Don't let somebody get everything, or even most, but let them get 1/3 or a bit more. This would keep restarting characters under control, and give people a bit more freedom.

I like creating new characters and my characters having limitations and not being able to do everything so I don't see the need for it
I can also see it devaluing the choices you make. Having made yourself a suit of every armour in the game and enchanting them all you shouldn't be able to just ditch those perks
Still so long as it wasn't obtrusive (eg every time you level up having the option to reassign perks would be obtrusive) I'd be happy for others to have the option

I think they should add this to the game.

Forget you.

If you don't like then don't use it. No need to punish everyone else because of your views of whats "fun".

Yes, because allowing us to respec is the "game playing itself". Would you like to try another asinine comment? Or are you done being pretentious?
