sixy women of skyrim, I found out where they went.

At least you guys all have the semblance of a choice here. I only get one eligible Argonian female and she dresses like Ysolda. :-(
There's no Khajiit at all, so I've just gotta settle for sinking my claws (teehee) into a passable Nord.

The words "decent looking" mean nothing. "Decent looking" is in the eye of the beholder.

This.

what about that bard in the winking skeever in solitude , don't know if you can marry her , or maybe you don t like blondes

or another option , now that you can marry lydia give her some forsworn armour

last thing you can try is ask one of those forsworn to marry you , did you try

Ok so all of us who have wanted to marry the "best looking npc" in skyrim have looked far and wide for the best woman for our tastes. I looked in each city and noticed that all the "sixy" npcs tend to not be open for marriage. They either are involve in a quest, which results in their death, have no dialogue options, have no quests to give you, or have a vampire problem (by which i mean they won't marry you). These people are easily identified with their stock Tavern clothing. Most of the time.

(I am on a wife hunt which prompted me to take note in the women that you talk to/fight.)

Now there are a few good looking npcs left, but they tend to have war paint on that covers their face. For my character I'm using now, I didn't want a warrior wife as that means they're probably real manly and not very feminie.

That left me with even fewer choices. Ysolda, and the girl from shor's stone. One you can't change her ragged clothes, and the other is ugly to me one day and decent the next.

Now as I'm noticing this crisis with the lack of decent women to fit my character, I take some time to go find some sword or whatever and end up fighting a village of Forsworn. As I am looting the bodies, I noticed that 90% of the forsworn were women. Then I remembered previous forsworn battle from my 1st character and I remember commenting on the high ratio of women in the forsworn!

As I look at their faces to see which characters they resemble, I notice the majority of them are very good looking!!!!!!

So I came to the wild conclusion that all sixy women of skyrim are doomed to join the forsworn!

Has anyone else noticed this? What do you all think about the woman selection in skyrim? I know there are what... maybe 5 decent looking npc women in skyrim that you can marry?

I'm not considering elves, khajiit, argonians, or anything not human.

Basically the only woman who isn't a warrior and one that is decent looking and open for marriage, that I have found, is Ysolda. The girl at shor's stone will only wear miner's clothes and that bugs me so she's out unless they fix that.

any opinions?
That bird in Markarth, you do a DB quest for, becomes available for marriage, if you do both parts of her quest. (leave non alive) she's probably the ' best looking ' NPC

Yeah, but she's been passed around like a bottle of Old Granddad at a biker rally.

You should be able to marry anyone you want, provided you're qualified to do so (doing favors, quests, becoming Thane, etc.). The only downside to that is that 90% of players would marry whatshername in Markarth leaving all the other women in Skyrim to Muiri's fate.

Pick a nice woman at random, approach her, and explode a bottle of Telvanni Bug Musk between her and you. Should solve your problem.

That is recklessly dangerous. Man's likely to go into cardiac arrest with all those women after him.

I like Muiri, but that face paint turns me off. More so with Aela.

Thank god for different opinions.

I like my Aela with Female Muscle Mod and her warpaint, although I don't like overmuscular women in real life. xP

Can you marry her?

I've come to the conclusion that if they wear those clothes she has then you can't marry them.

Haven't tried, my only human character (who is Nord) is only level 4 and is lost somewhere in the mountains. Hopefully you can.

And going by your logic does this mean we can't marry this http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120303195805/elderscrolls/images/archive/2/27/20120303200252!Hroki.jpg either? :ermm:

Without console commands on PC, no. (she has the marriage dialogue since she isn't an uniquely voiced NPC but isn't in the marriage faction)

Good-looking pixels available for marriage (in my opinion, anyway):

Lydia
Jordis the Sword-Maiden
Muiri
Aela the Huntress
Anwen
Mjoll the Lioness
Ysolda
Orla
Senna
Sylgja

I guess, the Dev are men, and they truly understand it is impossible to get a decent woman with so easy approaching (finish their quest and wear the mara amulet), and so that's what left for such simple marriage in game...

Dev "Want decent woman, go mod it yourself..."
More like, if you're pixel fixated, go play sixy Beach.' This is an RPG set in Skyrim, not Jersey Shore.

If looks are your only concern....

Spoiler
You can marry Muiri in Markarth if you assassinate both her targets when assigned the contract by the Dark Brotherhood

Personally I'm a little disappointed I can't marry Mirabelle

I use this mod for Sylgja: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=10956

I have also seen a lot I would like to woo.

I recall when Alvor was killed by a random dragon thinking that his beautiful (though a little dirty) wife Sigrid was available. When I figured out she wouldn't go for it I considered using the console to add her to the marriage faction. Figured I would have an instant family with the little girl also. I figured I would have her live in her own house (since I figured the daughter wouldn't leave it). I never did it though, but if Alvor bites it again (and he always does) I think I'll try it out.

Calling BS on this, and anyone that agreed. There are different looks that appeal to different people, but ugly is ugly.

If 80% of the population thinks a woman is beautiful, the other 20% don't think she is ugly, just not their type.

If 80% of the population thinks a woman is ugly, the other 20% don't think she is beautiful, they like her personality, or find her funny, charming or interesting.

This also applies to "decent looking" .

Na. Look at depictions of beauty from other periods of time or in cultures that are without Western mass societal influence. It changes with time and from people to people.

The only thing you're right on is 'really ugly', like a face that doesn't look like it's formed properly (not necessarily to that extreme degree, but it's hard to describe these things in words). No, above that point it is entirely subjective. You've made the dichotomy 'beautiful/ugly' rather than 'beautiful/not beautiful'. I definitely find many people extremely beautiful who most of my friends would find plain or average - it's those same traits that I find more attractive. Likewise, I've been shown to be the odd one out in the past by not finding certain (often blonde, model looking) women to be beautiful.

Take my avatar for example. I find him beautiful, and that was the point (part of his back story involves him being physically transformed), but I'm certain not everybody will (and not just because most males refuse to acknowledge beauty in other males). Extremes can be found, but most of it is taste. Again, if you don't believe me just look at old paintings especially the bodies of the women and bear in mind that they painted these women because the painter found them beautiful. Hell, this thread alone proves that we don't all have the same idea of a decent looking woman.

Dev "Want decent woman, go mod it yourself..."

Meanwhile every other 'Dev' has been putting decent looking women in their games for years.

Maybe the 'Devs' are all married to beastly women and want us to share in their suffering?

I'd say if it came down to just pure sixayness, I'd say its a close race between Muiri and Karita! But yeah, after all you cant marry her so I chose Mjoll.

If you are using a PC, then there are mods over at Skyrim Nexus, which makes almost all the females in-game hot looking (CBBE allows you a better view of the potential candidate). There's even a mod to let you marry quit a few different ones that were inaccessible before. I personally play a race called The Ashen, which is also a mod and always a hot lisbian female so when I find my "life partner" it usually ends up be Ysolda, Jordis The Sword-Maiden, Adrianne Avenicci or a new mod I found that lets you marry Jarl Elisief the Fair of Solitude. The one I have my sights on though is Saadia, but alas the mod does not work on her and she looks 100% better than the vanilla one.

Not drinking, not looking for tough women, what are you even doing in Skyrim? You better head off to High Rock or Cyrodiil. :D

Seriously, you're talking about sixy women in a game ? and what about "sixy men" then ? perhaps you've forgotten that in Skyrim everyone is bisixual

Apart from joke, i would largely prefer more variety in bodies/faces than a game with almost only "cute people" or full of "sixy women/men" in shorts- thanks, but i'm already fed up with old ladies/men with a creased face and a teen body
