Skyrim Alduin ending, *sigh*

ROFL!! Well, I can understand that from both sides truthfully. I used to build my own machines, so I get the bros.... but a few years back I got to the point of just wanting the DAMN THING TO WORK without intervention. So I get you from that angle too.... Now, I just order a nice reasonably priced no-OS barebones from tigerdirect and put my drives etc. into it, load my retail win 7 64bit ultimate onto it , and good to go.
I'm thankful I'm not at that point where the thing won't turn on or something, so I'm okay with holding onto my PC until it just gives up. I've had it for five years now and it does stuff that isn't running extremely detailed and gigantic video games real well, so I'm happy with it. And that sounds like something worth considering, I hadn't heard of Tigerdirect. I will locate and bookmark it for whenever I get around to buying a PC!

Also uhhh really sorry, OP. Alduin, Bane of Kings. Not a nice fellow. Even less nice of a boss fight. But the LESS nicest? What do you, at home, think?

Yeah, we REALLY bogglywoggled this thread.... Hope the OP didn't/doesn't mind.... I don't remember if I posted about it before, but on the only toon I played the MQ through to completion, I really didn't pay much attention to whether beating Alduin was easy or not. I was more involved in the entire "back of my mind experience".... That's what usually happens to me in TES games, this one no less than the rest.

Same thing happens to me on every character of ever Elder Scrolls game. I just wander around aimlessly in each hold, doing certain objectives but mostly wandering. I get to the main quest if I happen to be the same hold as the next quest for it. Took me ages to finish it the first time around, and even then, I pretty much did everything else in the game by that point. I just throw myself into every dungeon I see or spend an hour or so just pawing through the lore in all the books they have lying around. I don't want this game to eeeend. ;o;

TES NEVER ends. That's the great thing about Beth. The games literally go on forever. Maybe some things in a game aren't things you particularly enjoy - but that doesn't matter, because there's so much else to do....

OMG THIS. It's almost sad how I can do nothing in Skyrim or Oblivion for so long and still be completely infatuated with the game and its surroundings. Then I get to re-roll and do it all again! YAAAY. :D

Eh, yeah. We just keep going somewhere else don't we? Hopefully no one minds.... There's some really good dialog in this thread - I hope that's a mitigating factor.

:lmao: That's too funny!

If I get bored questing, I'll often slow down and have my character walk around (Not run or jog. Actually walk.) and just take in the sights. Mosey around cities and towns, pop into caves just to see what's in them. The other day, I found one of those non-hostile giants and just followed him for a good twenty minutes or so, just to see what he did. He didn't do much of anything, but it was fun. There's so much more to these games than just: "OMG! I have to kill Alduin at level 1 and finish all the quests and max out all my skillz so I'll be the most uber-elite bad mamma-jamma in the whole province!"
