At the moment I prefer Oblivion, only because I've not experienced everything Skyrim has to offer. Boring? No. if you don't like the game then don't play it. Coming on here and ranting and raving is gonna piss everybody off. Most people on here want a good debate, so if your post was more mature you'd probably find you'd get better responses. It's okay not to like the game but coming on here like a little boy is not a good thing. Maybe your mummy should put you back on the boob.

I feel the game is what you make it. The more you put in, the more you get out.

That said, the points raised are true, the main quest is average yet had an AMAZING set up plot (dragons, civil war, Thalmor nazi-ness). Side quests are pretty good but could have been better.

NPC design is atrocious, giving only one line to each person so you could stand next to them and they will literally repeat the same line every 20 seconds. The infamous "one voice guards" also return from Oblivion.

That is your opinion, personally I find Skyrim to be amazing so I am happy with it. The DLC will just make a good game even better.

skyrim is boring after all. I mean leveling up is cool, magic is very good, crafting and all of those stuff. so you do these staff for what? no changes in the world. NOTHING. characters are boring, story is boring, voice acting is terrible. the world is beautiful but boring. I know skyrim is a messed up place because of war but why it is so boring? I dont care about "skyrim" anymore. I dont like comparing the older Elder Scrolls games to skyrim but when I look at them, I played oblivion over 400 hours because at least there was a good story behind it. a lot of things improved over oblivion but I dont care to do these stuff. I completed every single quest in oblivion but in skyrim I just completed the main storyline and guilds and daedric quests. the most boring quest I dont want to complete is companion. fighters guild in oblivion, you can see them in every city. mages guild in oblivion, you can see them in every city. but in skryim? hehehehe. bethesda you are a lier. there was nine cities in oblivion. they said there is going to be FIVE MASSIVE CITIES in skyrim. but they are just the same size of the oblivion cities. I'm pissed off behtesda, you better make a good DLC.

If you're making a post on how boring a game is, at least make sure it's appealing, so people will read it and not call you boring in return.

If you find Skyrim boring then I say that's fine with me. I will still enjoy exploring Skyrims many secrets, have random encounters, get the small, free upgrades to the game with patches and free DLC, buy the larger sized DLC, do the quest-lines, kill powerful creatures like the Master Volkihar Vampire, build different characters and learn more about the lore from the last 200 years.

I was totally svcked into Skyrim when I first got it, and like many made the quick decision that it was one of the best games I've played. Once I beat the civil war, all guilds except Bards and Thieves, and the Main Quest my enthusiasm just died. Died completely. I am trying to rekindle my Skyrim spirit by trying out unusual characters, like two-handed Altmer heavy warrior and I do occasionally run around killing stuff but in the end I consider Skyrim an uttely boring game once you've done the main stuff. I find little pleasure in the stock dungeons.

Nevertheless Steam says I've played 110 hours of Skyrim which is pretty damn good for a game that cost me 49€. I expect to regain interest once some good mods come out.
