Skyrim's dialogue options are a slap in the face to TES fans

Ever think that maybe Bethesda's "vision" is a little... lacking? For example, when this series first started out, it was about being an RPG. Now, the focus has shifted to exploration and accessibility over everything else. Maybe it's time for their vision to shift again.

I don't think that their vision is lacking. Their vision is exactly what I want from an RPG, and Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim combine to form my top 3 favorite games of all time, and Fallout 3 being right behind that at #4.

200+ posts, so it's time to lock this.

Disliking the available choices in a CRPG is quite common, and understandable. In Pen & Paper RPGs you have infinite amount of possible choices but in CRPGs you're very limited to what the game designers given you. You can't have a fullfledged RPG experience in a CRPG due those limitations, unless you play one of the stereotype character templates they designed the game for.
