Skyrim isn't fun anymore, any suggestions?

Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 5:04 pm

Ok, so as of yesterday I have all 50 achievements for the xbox 360, and frankly, the game has lost all interest to me. I have beat the MQ, Thieve's Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Mage's College, Companions, andall the Daedric quests. I've done everything possible and I hate redoing things in another playthrough because I know exactly what is going to happen. Does anyone have any suggestions for any activities that can make this game fun for my again? Thank you for your time.

EDIT: I am playing on an XBox 360 for all the people telling me to mod, and if you have any hate feedback please keep it to yourself. I came here asking for help, not people telling me off.

If you're on pc, wait a couple of days for the CK and have fun with it afterwards. If you're not, get another game.

Yeah, a break is a good Idea, i feel the same way too sometimes, like 2 week's later i'm like "If i play Skyrim i'm just gonna be bored again" then i do and i have a good time on it again O.o

and also try not to do more scripted things like quests and go have your own adventure.

DiD, master, choose your character and levelup/perk them in skills you will never use. no stones. no pay for perks. severe suboptimal character building.

create some "realistic" rules for your gameplay, no exploits and see how long you last.

then, post your tombstone on the DiD thread.

Basically... play Street Fighter with one arm tied behind your back.

Doesn't sound fun at all.

I would say romellay a character create a backstory and be who the character is. Do they things they would do, if that does not work play a different game. A change of lace every once in a while is nice.

how many hours have you logged? after 200-250 any game will start to feel dull. with the ck, things should be spiced up considerably.

i kind of regret binging so hard instead of playing other games during the time i was playing skyrim.

Activities that don't involve Skyrim for at least 3 months, after which you can return to Skyrim.

I like the game to challenge me.

Not me tying my arm behind my back to get a challenge.

Go pc,theres no difference in vanilla just the fact that you can add what all those excellent modders have done for the game.

If only you could have the mod "Skyrim wars IV" on 360, that one actually lagged my machine.

Wait for the construction kit to come out, then either make something cool with it or wait for someone to do the same.

EDIT: I just remembered that you're playing on the Xbox. In that case, take a break for a while and wait for some DLC to come out.

That is a good option.

Although you need to post a starting character to qualify for the Memorial. Besides, posting updates on your progress is half of the fun.

As far as it being anything like Street Fighter? I don't think so and here's why.

My Goodness we get around 10 of these threads every day, why don't they use the SEARCH function up above and just join in someone elses? :lightbulb:

Just like everyone else will tell you, try making a new charachter the total opposite of your last, and don't worry about already knowing the plot etc a new build with a new model will be fun!
