It is skyRIM not skySIM

If you don't think ES has brantched out to also become a simulation game, then your sadly misinformed. Why do you think beth is adding this stuff? Because people want it. There is bigger fan base out there than this forum... the die hard fans might not like it but that is the turth.

Your going to see it expand in every future game... I can almost guarantee it.

What's with this "Tranny" thing I'm just now hearing about? Did some gamer try to put a dress on a male character and couldn't and is now outraged or something? Is this a new terrible internet meme (we really need to get away from that very lame arrow garbage).

I actually read a post earlier which commented on that.

Anyway, it's like this in Fallout as well.
Just cause we have freedom all of the sudden everyone wants "absolute freedom" but they seem to ignore the fact that it takes valuble time and resources to develop these features they demand.
Just ignore them though.
The game is made, the DLC's won't bring anything major to the table except new perks and weapons and armors and crap.
So just ignore the demands/suggestions for simulation related features.

This is why I tend to keep my complaints to things that are broken (eg. quest bugs, inventory glitches) and things that took a lot of time to do utterly wrong (eg. yellow candles casting blue light, bookshelves that don't permit enough books for them to remain standing).

I also go on to lament the lack of simulation-esque features, but that's down to their vision for the game, which is not what mine would be. New Vegas shows what a game like this can do with quests and factions if the player wants. I didn't like everything about NV, but the quests and factions were more interesting and more rewarding than in Skyrim. I do, however, remain thankful it's an awesome game.

There is less content in each iteration of TES. This is a problem. I would love this game, if only there were more to it.

I hope people request lots of features, changes and improvements. Beth may or may not be reading them. They'll decide to include them or not. If Beth picks what they think is a good one for a patch, DLC or future game then it is worth discussing them.

Being able to get married in this game is really weird.

At the very most, they should focus on making your companions have back-story like in Fallout New Vegas. They already published a game made by Obsidian that does it, why couldn't they have incorporated it into Skyrim?

That is the kind of feature that is acceptable and is relevant to an RPG game, not stuff like marriage.

Fully agree that companions should have more back story (and associated quests and dialogue) the way NV did it.

However, I think marriage is a good option to have but needs fleshing out more (more courtship etc). It's not the sims but could be romance that can be found in a great many fantasy stories. Heck, even the idea of adopting a kid or having a step-child could work if done right.

I'm upset that dentistry, scrapbooking, and mini-putt were not given skill tree perks and corresponding mini-games. You blew it, Bethesda!! How can this game simulate an open-ended world without dentistry, scrapbooking, and mini-putt.

What about Pole Dancing, Jazzercise, and Go Kart Racing....WTF BGS!?!?!
