No. It would be nice but no. If it as bad as they say on the PS3 they deserve one heck of an apology though.

Please do not bite the OP, I was reading this on another forum and decided to post it on here to gather some thoughts of the true Skyrim fans.

No, we are not scabs, we can buy DLC when it's released like normal people. People looking for free DLC are just trying to milk the situation.

It's impolite to ask for things. I think if you give people a chance, they'll do nice things. I wouldn't expect it and that's what would make it so nice if it happened. Give them a chance...they're good people. :tes:

Considering dev's like cdprojektred, do free dlc but make you pay for expansions. Then i dont see why Bethesda couldnt do the same kinda thing. Small things like weapons packs, horse armor etc could be nice freebies.

They should do this to say thankyou for buying the game, not to say sorry for you buying a game with issues.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

Why do so many people make a big issue out of nothing burger events. The patches were minor, most issues typically were client side, the game is great and the developers delivered on what the advertising promised. So no we do not need free stuff and people need to learn to stop being mooches and freeloaders.

I'd be happy if they patched in some ability to give my character, well, character.
I don't even need a full-on DLC for it. Just... something that makes my character more than a perk sack.

I'm not sure what I did to "deserve" free DLC. It'd certainly be rad if I got some and I'd appreciate it, but that's not the same thing as "deserve." All I "deserve" is the product I bought and for it to be reasonably bug free, or at least to the point that the bugs don't ruin or hinder my enjoyment of what I payed for. From my experiences so far, I've gotten that.

I suppose it could be argued that we "deserve" the the mod tools since they were promised before release. I don't doubt that they'll come out, but if for some reason they don't then that'd be a pretty valid reason to get upset.

No I don't, though I certainly wouldn't complain about it as DLC used to be free for everything before the new consoles were released...

Crysis2 was horrendous on multiplayer. Everyone was waiting for a patch and whining about free stuff them BANG they came out with DLC maps for MP at normal cost.

This will happen again for Skyrim.

If they offer it, I'd be more than happy to have it. The only ones whom I'd consider deserving free DLC are the PS3 owners with all their problems.

It would be nice, but I'd rather have a working game and an apology.

I think the game works very well considering the actual size of it, patches are a good thing they indicate that the company cares and wishes to fix problems that have occured as no game or software can be released bug free, I can thing of many games were there have been bugs but no patches have ever been released.
