My nephew is a paramedic here, and I went with him to Charleston for a memorial service for nine firefighters killed in a warehouse fire in '07.
There was a procession of a bagpipe corps playing Amazing Grace, followed by hundreds of firetrucks (from all over the county) through downtown, past the warehouse.
When they passed us, my eyes welled up, and my heart was literally hammering in my chest.

It was pretty emotional...

When http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rolw-K0FKrI played at the end of the Chrono Crusade anime, I cried the whole night. That was three years ago and I have never listned to that song since. I love that song dearly, but I tear up just by thinking of it. Reading the manga didn't help either.

This song always makes me remember The Pacific's last episode, which was my favourite of the series. I rarely get emotional in movies or TV series, but in the last episode, I had tear in my eyes for the whole 50min.

My best friend and I had a lot of drunken fun listening to and singing this song at out door festivals and parties. (16-20 years old) Sadly, my friend is dead now and this song makes me think of him, it's very emotional. It's hard to listen to now. God I miss him!
