This is a little far fetched but I think that at any point in the game after a certain amount of accumulative xp is earned (REALLY SLOW TIMER) the leader on the team, the user could (for a decrease of health to the user and his/her's allies) choose to do slow mow to the whole map for maybe 10 seconds (random number here) but the user's speed would be increased by 2.5% and his teammates by 2.5%. This should be made to be used in maybe one or two battles in the entire game not grossly overpowering but allowing for a larger chance for one team to dominate one small room battle AND LOOK AWESOME. This gives the opportunity for even the enemy team to get some awesome kills because it is not an overpowering advantage. I think this would be so much fun.

A more realistic perk would be that if they have killcams if you do not want people to know where you were shooting from or (if the camera follows the killer) where the killer is going you could get a perk that disables that.
Or a perk for the operative to booby trap a command post (this would happen at the firewall) so that for 10 seconds after a command post has just been secured you can (almost like radar) see them on the minimap (can't be too powerful though).

Almost too close to combat intuition for my taste. Also, You'd need some serious Hand-eye coordination to dodge bullets.......

True but perhaps it could show a line to where they are aiming. Yes I know its silly.

Heck operatives should booby trap everything.

I live to please. :disguise:

Soldier:

Cluster Bombs - Special grenades that, when they detonate, release several small bomblets that spread out and cause small secondary explosions.

Medic:

Dart of War - Stick people with healing syringes at a much longer range than normal.

Engineer:

System Link - Placing a turret near another turret gives both a 10% boost to damage and range. The effect stacks if you add multiple turrets.

Operative:

Mimic - When you die you will respawn disguised as the person who killed you.

Reverse Pickpocket - If your grenade is available, melee'ing an enemy will place your grenade on them, where it will explode after 3 seconds.

Universal:

Fair Trade - Lights lose their secondary weapon but can have medium weapons as primaries. Mediums can only have sidearms as secondaries but can have heavy weapons as primaries. Has no effect on Heavies.

Magic Hands 1 & 2 - Increases reload speed and equip speed of all weapons by 25 and 50%, respectively.

i got one for the engie Tricky Ricky where you can plant a mine on a downed enemy and if another enemy walks near him it explodes killing him and knocking the other guy down like a grenade would and to stop ppl from just opting to waiting to spawn it forces them to stay there for 20 secs. it would make for some cool ambushes i think

Light Body types
Blink: Increased S.M.A.R.T speed

All classes
Last Chance: Last bullet in the clip does more damage
Desperation: Last bullet in the clip has chance to knockdown
Safe!!! : Slide for longer distances

Edit I think this is a really interesting topic.

This is already doable by default. An Engineer can down an enemy and throw a mine under them so that anybody running near will be detonated when trying to assist the guy.

General:
You Forgot The Address: Allows the player to pick up and throw back grenades.
Not A Canned Animation: Allows the player to continue reloading from certain points when they must interrupt the process to interact with the environment (i.e. SMART, objectives).

Soldier:
Grenades Now Included: For three ability bars, the Soldier can throw an ammunition pack that instantly grants the receiver another grenade.
Temporary Promotion: Upgrades the ammunition pack so that the very first magazine is a high-capacity magazine. Requires two ability bars.

Engineer:
It's Easier Than Starting From Scratch: When a turret has been placed down, the Engineer can take it back to fully recharge the replacing meter. Does not apply to ability bar.
Even More Firepower: Engineers can use Weapon Buffs on turrets. Requires three ability bars.

Medic:
Long-Distance Lob: At the cost of two energy bars, the Medic is allowed to throw a syringe as opposed to closing in and stabbing their target.
Diazepam: When a target is stabbed, their recoil control and accuracy is improved, but they lose one health pip. Lasts for 10 seconds.

Operative:
"Just Kidding!": When an electronics-based system has been buffed with this ability, there is a 10% chance that enemies who attempt to hack it will encounter an error message halfway during the process and be forced to restart.
Technology Isn't Always Reliable: Allows the Operative to throw a sticky interference item at the enemy that takes away the target's HUD for 20 seconds.

Medic:

Experimental Serum: A revive syringe that has a 60% chance of giving the recipient a major health buff, and a 40% chance of causing minor damage on the target when he's revived.

Operative:

Assisted Suicide: When disguised as medic, allows Operative to throw poisoned revive syringes.

Soldier:
Nerves of Steel: Decreases bomb timers by 50%

Engineer:
Overkiller: Allows engineers to build Grenade Turrets with a very slow rate of fire.

One per level I think. Have you checked out the http://www.fragworld.org/frag/brink/the-fragworld-brink-compendium.html by any chance? Quick glance at it should answer most of your questions

Operatice- take a stab operative stab is one hit kill from back and in head

Whats a Operatice? And theres two problems with that skill.

1.There are no OHKs in Brink besides a buffed headshot on a light player. (Which only downs the player, it does not kill him)
2.You can only use a knife when you have a pistol equipped, its not COD style where everyone has a knife that you can instantly whip out and knife someone for a instant kill.

Soldier: What is a "reload"?: Increases chances of a instant reload by 10-15%

Operative: SH-SH-SHA!: Throw a smokescreen down to flee

Medic: Catch: Increases tossing distance of epi-pen(spelling)

Engineer: IMA FIARE MAH LAZORZ: Increases bullet damage of turret, changing the color to a bright blue!

Actually a knife thrust will also kill an unbuffed light.

Also for the operative:

Can't let you view that: Jams the enemy radar...

... instead of creating a recon drone effect when interrogating an enemy player.

There are a lot of great ideas in here!! Imma message a mod so they can consider (although unlikely) passing on some ideas on to devs.

And friendly reminder, these are all hypothetical, so just because a suggestions might seem undoable in the game doesnt make it a bad idea...because its all hypothetical!!

keep the good ideas, and names, coming!!

Soldier:

One Man Armory - Teammates slowly gain ammo just from being near you.

Pinball Grenade - Special grenade filled with dozens of small beads that shoot out upon detonation. Low damage, very wide area of effect.

Medic:

Inspirational - Teammates regenerate health faster, and revive themselves faster, when near you.

Fortified - Buff. Gives 3 additional health pips while incapacitated.

Engineer:

Pinpoint - Doubles your turret's range and tracking speed, but halves its fire rate.

Spray 'n Spray - Halves your turret's range and tracking speed, but doubles its fire rate.

Operative:

From Behind - You do 10% more damage when you hit an enemy from behind, but deal 10% less damage when attacking from the front.

Mine Now! - Hack enemy mines to make them yours.

Universal:

Free Hand - Removes the knife, but increases sidearm reload speed and equip speed by 33%.

Dependence Day - Begin with 50% health and ammo, but buffs from your team have double their usual effect.

Hahahaha, I love coming up with stuff like this. It's my bread and butter, really.

Soldier:

Fastball - Throw your grenades straight and fast! Causes knockdown if you hit someone with them directly.

Medic:

Riddle 'em - Buff your ally's concentration and stamina, increasing their stability while firing.

Engineer:

Dead Man's Chest - Rig your fallen allies to explode when finished off.

Operative:

Prank Call: Enemies within a certain radius of you will hear random fake comm messages.

did u get dead mans chest from battlefield play 4 free cause it does same thing with same name

Nope. Came up with it all on my own, just like all of the others. I'm an inventor. It's what I do. :disguise:

Funny coincidence though.

Invent a super awsome medic ability that isn't overpowered then.
