Sunglare through walls.

I guess I can try that. I swore someone somewhere told me it wouldn't work with driver-forced AA but the file's description certainly doesn't say anything about it.

The line issue has only been affecting me since Catalyst 10.11 onward. 10.10 and older were fine. AMD just ignores any bug reports filed against it but it's definitely a driver issue.

I have a 5770. No luck with this shader. Loaded correctly, but didn't change anything that I could see.

Didn't change anything for me either, but it gave me an excuse to pop the godrays in and check those out. Except it seems I need to abandon the sunglare mod I'm using or suffer a whiteout in the sky.

UPDATE:
A user at Nvidia's forum thread on this issue (linked above) reports that the latest beta driver, 270.51, does indeed resolve the series-400 Oblivion sun-glare anomaly. I myself have not yet downloaded this driver so can't verify.

It not only happens with Oblivion. It happens for me with Fallout 3 too. So it's an nvidia driver issue with the gamebryo engine used by these 2 games.

Tested with vanilla reinstalls of both games. So it's not mod related.

... and good to read about 270.51. I'll check it out ASAP!

Still a Beta driver - I'll wait for the stable release. No hurry, I've waited far too long for this to lose patience now :)

Just wanted to report that this issue exists with GTX580 cards as well. I haven't tried the beta driver yet. Will post back if it fixes the issue, but I'll likely wait for the official release as well.
