The balancing act...

They would agree to it, so as long as Bethesda set their priorities straight...

Microsoft and Sony? Why? What makes you say that? And how are Bethesda's priorities not "straight"?

Nobody has any reason to complain, PC or console. A deal is a deal, and Bethesda isn't obliged to offer the same deal to all parties, for the reasons I mentioned. There are good reasons why they aren't putting mods on the consoles; just because the PC game has them doesn't mean that they're "supposed" to be on the consoles.

You speak as if you are making a negotiation this is a game. We play for amusemant but this "Balancing Act" needs to stop!

From what I have seen it isn't COMPLETELY copying WoW but some aspects are, as with any mmorpg.

Woo, that is where you are wrong, Blizzard could probably sue them for that...{those of you who think I am serious I am making an expression}

You're essentially making a negotiation as a customer when you buy the game. If the price is too low, Beth won't sell it for that price because they wouldn't make any profit. If it's too high nobody will buy it. Bethesda will price things as high as they can get away with, and customers will buy a game as cheaply as they can. This is all in effect a negotiation.

I don't know what you mean by "this balancing act needs to stop", though.

It has NOTHING TO DO WITH BETHESDA. Modding on consoles is to do with Sony and Microsoft.

So you don't find it fair that all you have to do is type in a code to make a mod, while people have to literally destroy their console(s) to mod?

I think it's perfectly fair. I play it on the Xbox. If I had a PC good enough to play this bad boy at full settings, I'd be modding it up. But the game is still good on the Xbox... and, believe it or not, I'm happy that PC players have such freedom (I used to so I know how it feels).

You know, I understand what you were saying but there is a limit but they crossed it beyond our expectations...we console players should have our own workshop called the "Xbox Marketplace" but since they are working on this stupid TESO it changed their priorities.

Hey that's a good idea you got there.
(altough there should be a PS3 workshop to lol)

I always assumed the mods would have to be ported to the consoles from the computers.

But it wouldn't be that hard to make a Console friendly creation kit.

It probably wouldn't be good as on PC though.

I really do hope Mods come to console though..

As I have said, this is a balancing act so they (as you said) have more freedom so why not get console players a shot to have some fun? Is it really THAT difficult to do that?

Because Sony and Microsoft won't allow it. Simple.

Alright, "kid", I am not looking to win OR lose I am merely making a point, a suggestion... but for you "kids" you should not even be here.

I believe they will...simple...

I am not saying to mod without destroying you Xbox and/or PS3, I am saying to add something to stop putting console players in solitary already...Bethesda should stop focusing on the left hand without the right hand...

I don't know if this will help, OP, but a lot of PC mods are restoring to PC users the game we would have if games weren't held back by console hardware.

PS3 and Xbox easily outsell PC versions.

You see PC players on YouTube because there is very little reason to YouTube vanilla gameplay. A lot of YT videos are showing wonky stuff created by mods or by using the developer console. And probably because people who make/ edit video have good PCs that can play such games.

Very few game developers give mod support anymore. Bethesda should be thanked for doing so, not thumped.

Do you have any thought behind this notion or is this just dreaming? Beth has stated many times they wanted to bring mods to consoles, but the restrictions are just to thick to make it realistic.
