She also tells them she'll continue to make sure none of them ever get adopted.

I did that. In fact, I spent 24 hours in the orphanage and obversed everything, hidden away so that they would display their natural daily routine. Nobody was ever physically abused. In fact, Grelod also wants to get rid of the children and wonders why there haven't been any adoptions recently, which makes me wonder who in there really is against the adoptions and why.

Grelod seems definitely to be the noisily barking dog who doesn't bite.


So, you'd essentially murder someone only because they isn't polite or nice and only because some wicked psychopathic child wants someone murdered. This works of course for people who want to join the DB, but for people who just want to initiate their questline to wipe them out, it shouldn't.

Gameplay is not lore. I think this game would get slammed if they actually showed children getting beaten and thus this game would be called children beater simulator. Plus gameplay doesn't even allow children to suffer damage.

Then you must have a different version of Skyrim than the one I have. I snuck in there and was hiding to listen to her and all I heard was her yelling at and trash talking to the kids, telling them how worthless they were, how no one wanted them, how she'd make sure they never got adopted and how they were all getting an extra beating before going to bed. So to me those kids were living in hell so I killed her.
AND after that none of the kids were scared or horrified. In fact, they all cheered me telling me I saved their lives because they were sure she was going to kill them and that she was making plans to kill the boy that ran away and hired me.

When is the last time you've heard the word beating mean spanking? When people hear beating, they mean assault or torture, not a simple spanking. If it was a spanking, why does Grelod have SHACKLES on the wall?
