The long string of recent hacking attacks.

Meh the most I have done becuase of this is to remove my card info from xbl/my GT. If they hack me they wont get much, ad these people hacked Sony, so if they want to hack you, you will get hacked, stronger password or not.

I don't think these hackers are interested in the masses and their funny e-mail and video game accounts. Be that as I might feel, I do constantly here about WoW players getting hacked from most likely 'key logging' software. Thanks all the same!

Haha, my passwords consist of random letters, numbers, and signs -- annoying to remember (I usually don't), and won't save you from key logging software, XD.

Hope that they like TES and Fallout as much as they like Nintendo?

Or give me all your money.

I prefer the second option personally :P

EDIT: They *MAY* be coming here. This would be the logical place as they mentioned Bethesda and Zenimax aswell.

I'm not sure how much good that would do, it looks like they already got it:

Oh well, I was already planning on changing all my passwords this summer anyway

Changing your passwords WILL keep the leaked information from easily being able to be used against you, though.

I use a simple rotating hash prefix in front of a changing base that in some way has something to do with the site I'm logging into.

for years I had:

AndN0W4s0meth1ngC0MPL3T3LYd1ff3r3nt.., followed by something that referred to the site like NYT for the new york times, or whatever..

I use a number of slightly shorter,, and completely different, prefix hashes for my passwords these days :)

..or, in the case of Beth here, I uhh.., forgot my old pass word, requested a new one, plugged it into firefox, and uhh.., can't remember what it was anymore since I log in automatically with firefox.

I remember it was complicated though

I dislike most online backup sites. I prefer a simple peer-to-peer network of backups. (Encrypt my important files with atleast 2 layers of encryption, upload to a friends FTP server in another state.)

So do these guys just have to much time on their hands or what, it seems pointless to me, at the very least they could be helping instead of dikeing around.

These [censored]s have only duped themselves. People will panic in these wave of attacks and insist something must be done. Security will increase slightly, at a dramatic cost of internet freedom.

Well Lulzsec announced they are coming after Bethesda or Zenimax on their Twitter. http://twitter.com/#!/LulzSec

Well, when you are a virgin, get beat up a lot in school, can't play any sports, can't get a real job, and can't move out of your parents' house in your 30's, this is what you do apparently. I'd love to meet one of those geeks in real life. In fact I'd love to meet them all in real life. What a bunch of cowardly losers.

If we know who is doing all of the hacking why isn't something being done?

EDIT: With all of these hackings going on and nobody getting caught sounds like everyone is lieing or something else is going on.

Well I don't know if this will or will not reach the forums, but as a precaution, I just changed my pass... Maybe I will do the same with Steam and other accounts I have :S

So, are these guys just doing it to be funny? Because they said the Skyrim Fan Interview would be out after E3, if this delays it, I'm going to be so [censored] pissed.

If those hackers try to wriggle their way in these forums, they'll have to get past all the dragons in their way...

Or if they like FO3, the old school Fallout fans complaining.

Well what can you do? Are there really laws on the internet? Their twitter could be banned and they could have their domain name stripped, but that would only stop them doing these things publicly.

What I don't get is how anybody can have such a problem with Brink that they decide to attack Bethesda/ZeniMax. I know it wasn't such a great success of a release, but it's not like they sent out the game with dead kittens in place of disks.
