The main quest of dawnguard is 10 to 20 hours long, NOT THE

Did they say exactly how big it is going to be? Is it the same size as SI?
They said in-between kotn and Si.
As i said the main story is 10-20 hours, and there's a huge amount of other content.

There could be, but I don't think there will be because level 81 characters won't be able to unlock them.
I say there could very well be a level cap does.not matter in TES. You can create a new character and besides it takes a while to get to level 81 anyways, you would have to max out every skill in the game. I say there very well could be crossbow perks and a few others if we are lucky.

We should get an easy 40-50 hours from it. The dawnguard side will be 20 hours and the vampire side will be 20 hours. That's the way I see it.

I will get a few hundred easy out of an expansion pack I will tie what's in it into the core game and I will treat it as a part of the world. But I also play these games far more than any other game out there so...

Map size will be in between kotn and shivering isles also. 2 castles, soul cairn, and who knows what else.

He said there will be also another large area added to skyrim itself, the place were the aquatic dragon is, as i said its most likely a large add on to the sea of ghost's coast.

If it does have a lot of crafting like Todd said then we should see a lot of stuff that will continually contribute to the game world.

I missed that interview so they are greatly expanding the crafting in this expansion. If so thay is great news I adore crafting as a past time in these games especially alchemy.

Why does everyone seem so obsessed with how long it is?

It's down to your play style, I think. With TES games you get out what you put in. You could rush through and finish it in mere hours but you'd be missing out if you did.

Dawnguard will easily give me another 200+ hours. I have a new character made thats leveled up a bit but with no quests done so I can have fun with the new vampire stuff during the main game. Even before that I'll be joining the Dawnguard first while experimenting with the werewolf tree. Basically, the 10-20 hour stuff means nothing to me.

Does Dawngaurd feature new landmass??

I can't seem to pin this down in any of the interviews. I know it will add a new oblivion relm, but my question is in regards to ladmass near Skyrim.
Possibly. I don't think I recognize that frozen lake the dragon dive-bombed into, and believe me, I have put in over 342 hours into this game and traversed through a lot of the frozen tundra areas of Skyrim. Maybe I ought to explore that area a little more to see if I can find anything that looks like that lake. I would think it wouldn't be hard to miss, considering that it seemed to be completely or almost completely covered in ice, and seemed massive.

This has been CONFRIMED by the Devs the Main Dawnguard quest is 10-20 hours JUST the main quest so there's pelntly of content besides that.

All you naysayers said people were overhyping it by saying the DLC was more then 10-20 hours well guess wehat YOU WERE WRONG NAYSAYERS.

Yep, they said Skyrim had 300 hours of content too. I wouldn't hold your breath.

And the faction questlines were so short they may as well not have existed, if Dawnguard is similarly sized, it's Main Quest will likely be fairly minimal.

Behold the cries of the fast traveling quest centric drill through skyrim. Missed the point of the sandbox.

I don't see what all the fuss is about. 10-20 hours kicks ass for an add-on. The more the better though.

Exactly. I find the majority of games these days last a pathetic 5-9 hours.
