Anything starring Reb Brown. Simultaneously the greatest and worst movies ever made. Just look at http://cdn2.iofferphoto.com/img/item/127/459/765/IMfJvNNZcsxb6Ix.jpg and tell me it doesn't scream awesomely terrible.

Any film adaptation of "Wuthering Heights", but that's mainly because the source material is so horrible to begin with.

This.

Apart from the Jim Carrey part, 'Eternal Sunshine' and 'The Truman Show' were pretty good in my opinion.

Surprise, surprise, FX just gave me three more to list this morning: Are We There Yet?, Are We Done Yet? and My Super Ex-Girlfriend.

Ben Stiller, or Jim Carrey

Generally I'd agree, but have you ever seen The Royal Tennebaums or The Truman Show? I thought those were excellent films.

And for all the people saying Avatar and The Dark Knight, I wouldn't say they are the worst films ever, you've been lucky if they're the worst you've ever seen. Both were well made, and at the very least mildly entertaining. Over-hyped and over-rated definitely, but as somebody who wasn't expecting anything from either film, I was quite happy with them.

Films that come to mind for me:
The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard - Saw it last night, was unbelievably terrible.
Observe and Report - Again, woeful.

There's a list as long as my arm, but those two immediately came to mind. I could probably just say "Anything with Jennifer Lopez" though, I think that's a safe bet.

Meh, I thought The Cell was alright. But it probably would have been better if Jennifer Lopez wasn't in it.

Every part of The Twilight Saga so far. My girlfriend wanted me to see them all with her, I refuse to see the next one.

The third Shrek movie was horrendous.

I can't help but think some of these responses are trolls. Some of my all-time favorite movies are being named like Boondock Saints or Crash (However, I think there's multiple movies with the same name 'Crash' so I'm not positive...)

Anyways, by far the worst movie I've ever seen is 'Last House on the Left' (Unrated). The rated R version is AMAZING. The unrated version is tasteless. I had to skip a scene. I can't watch a [censored] scene that lasts for more than minute. That's ridiculous.

What I want to know is. What is that abomination of a gun he is holding? Its a cross between an M4 with an M203 and a GE M134 Minigun. There is no way in hell that thing is firing 5.56 rounds. Maybe .22? LOL

At any rate, there have been two movies that I've actually walked out on and that was one with Denzel Washington where he takes a hospital hostage and the other one is with Sly Stallone in Copland. Both horrible movies.

I've seen a lot of horrible movies. Too many to list here.

Pfft. 28 Days Later was amazing,

Yes. Amazingly bad. I know I'm in the minority on this. The only reason I didn't walk out on the movie was because of the ~$20 I paid for my gf and I to see it.

Look. Why does this topic come up again & again?
It has been scientifically proven that http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jE5dJDgZ644 is the worst movie that has ever been made.

The penchant for hyperbole in discussion forums never gets less entertaining. Avatar is the worst movie you've ever seen? Really? Have you only seen like 20 movies? I'm not saying Avatar was good in any way except the technology (which trying to deny would be blatant trolling, IMO), but I could easily rattle off 100 movies that are a LOT worse off the top of my head, only pausing to breathe. :P Then again, I've seen a lot of movies.

I can only assume that the reaction to the hype/expectation to satisfaction ratio must be so intense that objectivity goes straight out the window. ;)

I almost forgot; pretty much any Sci-Fi original movie. Now those are the epitome of bad.

Napoleon Dynamite, by far. I absolutely don't see anything about that movie that is funny or interesting in the slightest.

Dude, where's my Car? and Tenacious D are the closest contenders. And even they don't come close to that.

Yeah, a lot of people don't like that movie. I thought it was brilliant, but I love weirdness. C'mon, a llama named "Tina?" Why do I find that hilarious? I don't know, but I do. :P

Propably, like Oblivion or DA2 being the worst game ever :P

Speaking of, my comment of Doom was powered by the same phenomenom. It's not the worst movie i've seen, maybe not even the most disappointing, but i remember quite clearly the :swear: part that came after it :hehe:

I don't think it was the worst movie I've ever been by a long shot, but since people are mentioning it, I thought Avatar was great to look at but it was one of the very few movies to have such bad/predictable writing that I was ranting about it all the way back home. What makes it worse is Avatar is one of those movies people who don't hate it assume people who do hate it only do so because it's popular, not because it has genuine flaws, which it very much does.

But one of the worst movies I've ever seen was The Invention of Lying... I don't really feel like explaining it like I did in the last thread like this, I just hated everything about it and can't watch anything with Ricky Gervais in it anymore without getting angry at him. Even talking about it makes me want to say very not nice things about him and his comedic ability.

I guess technically Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter is the worst movie I've ever seen, but that was purposely trying to be bad so it doesn't really count. Besides, it wasn't actually "good" bad like it was trying to be, it was just really really really boring.

Yeah, a lot of people don't like that movie. I thought it was brilliant, but I love weirdness. C'mon, a llama named "Tina?" Why do I find that hilarious? I don't know, but I do. :P

My problem with it is it doesn't feel like a movie where nearly everyone is dumb, it feels like a movie where everyone has mental handicaps and you're supposed to laugh at it. I really don't think the majority of the main characters would be undiagnosed with something if it was real life. So I was more disturbed at the movie than anything. I like to think I have a pretty broad sense of humor but that was just too much.

Not so much a bad movie, but The Wicker Man with Nicholas Cage had the worst ending I've ever witnessed in a movie. As for movie as a whole it's a bit more tough. A lot of those silly Asylum movies are..well awful but entertained me somewhat so I don't wanna hate on them to much.

Shoot 'em up is probably the worst movie I've ever seen.

I kind of liked the premise though. "[censored] plot, this movie is just going to be a [censored]load of killing and six." Pure testosterone in cinema form.

The worst ending I ever witnessed in a movie was All the President's Men.

Newspaper Owner: "Don't [censored] up this story guys."
*Cut to typewriter for 5 minutes churning out Watergate-related headlines unreadably fast, rather than actually showing the events in the movie.*
