I feel like Betheda tried focusing on a bunch of things and improving on all of them, so they all ended up being bad. My least favorite thing is definitely the guilds, I didn't get attached to any of the guilds, except the Companions because it had a good story only it was too rushed, and they should have made two branches for it the werewolf side and a normal Fighter's Guild side.

The compass :swear:

And the sneak crosshair. If only I could turn these things off without loosing the "invisible" health/stamina/magicka bars.

1 Mile wide, 1 foot deep.

Skyrim Why you no give me more, why you so shallow, why you stop short or rush me JUST when things get interesting. Why aren't you Epic in depth as you are in scale.

This.

Radiant quests bother me too. The fact that they used them as a filler so they wouldn't have to make more hand written quests.

Right. So we should all be like you and not criticize the game one bit. If you don't like reading comments that criticize the game, maybe the forums aren't for you.

I've made criticisms of it, and I daresay I will do it again.
No, my problem is with people who COMPLAIN about it, over and over, presenting the same argument over and over if they present one at all.

Example: OH MY GOSH Skyrim is sooo bad.
Example 2: ARRGHH I HATE SKYRIM if I get to level 100 in smithing and enchanting and walk around in legendary Daedric armor with a legendary enchanted sword its too easy! (on every single thread)

These people never seem to acknowledge the many, many positives associated with Skyrim, nor do they keep an open mind.

I'd say the majority of the "complainers" around here aren't like that at all.

RPG mechanics are absent, less depth overall
this just about sums it up...

Maybe Magic. I just wish Destruction was more damaging alone without needing support skills. Oh and I'd like more spells hehe.

I could also say that the quests are quite repetitve and aren't amazing or give the wow factor.

Oh and unrewarding unique loot. I wish that the loot was actually unique in design and ability, with tonnes of different unique items.

But I still enjoy the game.

Either the 3D map, or the container interface.

lack of rpg-character based mechanics, uninspired/worthless skills and perks, poor trade skill implementation

the atrocious hud options

poor a.i., lack of difficulty throughout the game

no underwater/horse combat, no spellmaking, no unarmored/h2h

the lacklulster loot, uniques and economy

and no freaking hardcoe-mode with degradation, potions over time, no health regen, weather/armor/racial stats, eat/sleep and weight

I have two that came to mind right off the bat. The horrible house decorating ability and the lack of different combat styles, even more weapons would help remedy this. Spears, crossbows, throwing weapon, flails please? ect.

oh, damn. how the heck could i forget the freakin house decoration and item manipulation disaster that i harp on all the time?!

so many of us absolutely loved the fallout3 greatness and spent, literally, hours decorating and getting things exactly right.

this system is a joke.

It's not any better in Oblivion, either, aside from that Paint Brush Glitch. Apparently Bethesda doesnt like us decorating our houses ...

see, this is what irritates and grinds away at me: they did fallout3 perfectly. why, then, do we get the mess that we have in skyrim?

it's unacceptable.

I'll outwelcome my stay and mention two things; the fact that Imperials are still bothering everyone (alas, they are back and as obnoxious as ever) and two, the lack of an exquisite shirt.
