The ability to forge arrows. Fed up of only being able to buy a minuscule amount of Daedric arrows from the Solitude Fletcher (or even any...if I'm lucky)

kikkoandmoonman, i like the idea. That always annoyed me, and it would be another use for the various types of feathers in the world

Not that I seen, and what was the reason, if it was the stones, I think that's just wrong, you should be stuck with star sign, not able to swap it over.

Miscellaneous:
· More info on Blackreach and the Crimson Nirnroot. Why was it built? Why is there a dragon in it? And why is the Nirnroot red, and what’s its significance (Nirnroot in general I mean to say)?

nirn root is just a plant, a perfectly natural plant (the crimson nirn root is just an evolution of said plant) and i agree with most everything you said, but, i would like to add no limit on followers, i was going to make a mercenary leader kinda rp but now im stuck leading one guy/gal around, while im thinking abotu it, i would also like to be able to summon as many dead as i want but the spell has to be different (like a ritual or something, something that takes time, money, resorces and maybe the necromancer's amulet)

remembered: they simply gave specific bonuses to races instead, and removed the starsigns to allow for more freedom in character building. or something similar.

Well then I think if they did that, you have to go to a graveyard and do it, or something, also depending where ya summon from, it should be more difficult, like say most difficult would be summon Ysgamor corpse up. I like idea of more followers, hell I like idea of starting ya own religion, and being able to gather people for it.

there is a lot of lore surrounding Nirn Root and its origins, which i found around on the web while becoming mind boggled by CHIM (someone had to mention it).
And the reason you have a follower limit is for practicality, too many = stuck in doorway etc.

Like the army of undead idea though.

if i want too many followers i should have them, i had my mercenary band in oblivion (the adoring fan, the odil boys, a mage and i had another character but i forgot who...anyway it was fun)

for the undead, i would assume we would also need some spare parts for it

i understand what you mean with the follower thing i really do, id love my own mini army, but its just not practical tbh. I remember (in oblivion) one of my followers shot another with an arrow (in the knee), so they ended up fighting and one died. it was hillarious but really annoying. and then the jabbering in the background - can you not imagine having 10+ followers wandering behind you repeating the same lines over and over?

and the spare parts thing would be an interesting quest. you get a unique weapon for it or something...

^^^ High king of Skyrim. Seen as though the Jarls never actually meet for the Moot and decide on a new high king, why not?

Although... putting the last dragonborn back on the throne of the Empire would make sense, no?

Don't mean high king, but if you got chance to become Jarl, and when ya came back had to deal with some issues, would be fun like Fable 3 failed to do.

Let's assume no big game changing stuff like spellcrafting, new perk trees or deeper dialogue. Simple things that fit in with what we have.

Number one need for me, more spell tomes. And seriously, we don't need a new destruction spell that does half frost and half fire, I mean jump, slowfall, water walking, slow, weakness, more Daedric summons, haste, expert level runes, paralysis runes, more familiar spells, the rest of the bound weapons, the list goes on.

Number two, every level you take stamina increase, a small boost to running speed and jump distance.

Zen1966, i like your ideas, would be good to include for sure.

And rulke55, that is a good point, it always annoys me when there are just large towns with barely anyone there... dont even need to be named, just generic NPCs would do
