Killing Gecko's. They fly around playfully after radroaches and almost have smiling sock puppet faces, it's such a shame they attack me. Lock and Load!

That's funny you said that. I was thinking the same thing like an hour ago when I was playing. They're so cute with their wide open mouths and tiny running legs. I want to pet them

Totally agree with that.

Here's mine: last night i won 8,000 chips at the Gomorrah and i accidently asked for it in ncr money, so then i had to go through speech until i received all my money in caps.

Stopping playing after the MQ.

No kidding! I can't believe they made the same mistake FO3 did.

Thing I hated to do: (Main Plot spoilers)
Spoiler
Blowing up the brotherhood for House.
I hated the thought of that so much that I couldn't bring myself to do it.

So I killed House instead... and hated doing that! The obituary it gives you didn't help ease my guilt at all. :(

I despise starting the MQ and getting to New Vegas. You always have to take the long way around since the short way involves running through freakin' Deathclaw land.

I don't like the whole main quest. [censored] them, I want to explore and get buddies with all the groups earning cash and equipment from all of them. I don't give a damn in the long run who rules whole darned place.

I don't like killing House. I would never blow Brotherhood up and if the main quest required it, I wouldn't finish it even one time.

Stopping playing after the MQ.

Marketing ploy, I see DLC which unlocks the game after the MQ in the future.

But I hate having to run around the numerous invisible walls, especially when the path in front of me is clear and obstacle free.

I don't like Volare or Still In the Dark. These were just time spent and not much gained. Oh yay, the boomers and BoS accept me.. But that was about it.

I mean you don't even get Power Armor training! Come on.

I felt similar. Even when they're attacking you, if you damage them they will sometimes cower and put their paws over faces as they hunch down - it's so cute!

...right up until I seperate their head from their bodies, skin them, and eat them. :(

At least Volare is fun. Still in the Dark makes you leg it all over blasted Mojave. :banghead:

SPOILER:

You get the quest for power armor training after you finish Still in the Dark. Come back about a day later and talk to the Brotherhood Elder.

I sure hope it's a marketing ploy. I mean, right when I learned that it ended there I knew they did it for DLC, plus I thought they let it continue, so I went and did that first.

But I heard/read that DLC continuing the story was not projected or planned - that the scale of which side you went with had too much overall effect and difference on the game per individual, that they wouldn't be able to construct any continuation correctly.

I don't mind DLC, I do mind DLC akin to Broken Steel. Broken Steel is at least relatively plausible in terms of it happening. But in F:NV, once we win, the game explains what happens. To make a BS styled DLC would effectively break any sentiment and purpose the epilogue provides.

Oh I know, but that was what made me dislike it, you know, besides the fact that you served as McNamara's errand boy the entire time. Did he ever think that a BoS Paladin doesn't look like BoS unless they're wearing power armor? Oh yeah, great leading.

And Volare wasn't that fun for me. Although the history lesson was fun :vaultboy:

"For every 46.8 people we killed, one of ours died!" Ahaha. That and the fact that they just about wanted to kill everything.

Bashing a confession out of someone....five minutes of my life that could have been resolved in one with a set of spiked knuckles.

If this game does not have a 'continue after the main quest' DLC, and the first one released...not the last, then this will definitely be the last in any of this franchise for me, I'm afraid.

I find that hard to believe. I have more faith in Bethesda/Obsidian than that. I mean really, it's faction based and the only thing that would have to possibly change is New Vegas. Whichever side you chose runs the strip, they have more of a presence throughout the mojave. It really wouldn't be that hard. Open world/sand box games that "end" svck all ass. They know this, just like they know there is money to be made in DLC.

Which is also [censored], it keeps getting worse and worse with these DLCs, pretty soon we'll all have to buy our games in fragments as DLCs at 20 dollars a pop.

Unless you can live out the epilogue instead of hearing it?
I'm all for DLC too, and I've been getting by fine without the continuation after the MQ
Besides the spoils the the Second Battle of Hoover Dam aren't too great.. Not much even mentionable actually.

The thing about the epilogue, at least for the Mr. House ending, it explains things over the years/decades. My problem is New Vegas ENDS at the main quest, there is nothing to make a 'aftermath DLC' for this. It dissapoints me deeply that people refuse to play a game if it doesnt let you play after you finish EVERYTHING :l
