When I was round 7 or 8 yrs old, we were visiting my Aunt and Uncle and while dinner was cooking, my uncle starting hollering to us to "Come out and look at this thing!" We all went outside and he was crouched near the base of a tree. What we saw was what I can only describe as a living baked ziti noodle. It was yellow-ish with a coating of "red slime" and it moved like a grub. Overall it was around four inches long, and it was tubular, again like a ziti noodle, and it had no discernible "head" or "tail." I've studied all things natural nearly my entire life and have never come across anything remotely like what I saw that day. I only regret not capturing it and taking it to a college or extension office to get it checked out. Come to think of it, why didn't the advlts at the time even take a picture?...
It was probably that alien slug from the movie "Slither."
Once, when I was little, I had a tooth under my pillow in an envelope for the Tooth Fairy to come get it. At some point that night, I woke up and found all of my blankets hovering about six feet over my bed with nothing holding them up there. When I screamed bloody-murder for my mom, the blankets dropped back on my bed, just as she was opening the door. Now, if that wasn't crazy enough, the envelope with my tooth inside was missing, and there was a dollar under my pillow.
This next one, I didn't see personally, but I was there when it happened. I was at a friend's house for a sleepover, and we were playing a "Whodunit" type of game with his parents and little sister (who was maybe 7 years old at the time). All of a sudden, she started screaming, crying, throwing random things, and generally going insane. The game was called off, and when her parents were frantically asking her what was wrong, all she did was scream "Leave me alone," and ran out of the house, down the street. Later, my friend and I asked her what her tantrum was all about and she explained to us that a man, with devil-red skin, long yellow finger and toenails, horns, completely white eyes, a creepy smile, and a horrible laugh, was running across the ceiling on his hands screaming her name, with his head spinning around in circles. We both believe her to this day. That's not something that a little kid would randomly make up, and they definitely could not fake the same kind of fear that she had.
