Where the nudity?
If this games rated M i wanna at least see some [censored].

The M Rating is based on some of the content in conversations and the violence like decapitations. There is mention of everything from [censored] to murder if you talk to the NPCs enough and pay attention to what they are saying.

It overall feels rather tame for an M rated game. Like it gained that rating just to be "safe".

Nudity doesn't have to be in a game to be rated M. See majority of AAA FPS

I was sadden to read one of the lore books in the game and found out there was a brothel in Solitude. I wish it stuck around, at least I'd have some place to spend all my coins.

Quite the statement about a society's warped priorities, if simple nudity is so bad but a public beaheading or 2 is nothing noteworthy.

I dont know if this is true or not, but didnt the Dark Brotherhood questline help bump up Obivion's rating to M?

Maybe, but to be honest...

There really isn't much in Skyrim to warrant the 'M' rating.

Even in the DB.

Brutal decapitations? Sticking your swords right through people? Murdering innocent citizens? Talk on six and all that good stuff? I think there is, in fact, enough to get that M rating.

I agree it got that because of the graphic violence. Simple enough.

The only glimmer of nudity I saw was the Dibella statues which isn`t really saying much at all.

It still amazes me how we can handle gratuitous violence with heads graphically been chopped off men and women, but nudity...?

Because watching someone's head roll down a hill isn't as traumatizing as seeing briasts at 13 years old.

Maybe the M Rating is there because we can KILL BUNNIES!!!!......

Well, one of the Thieve's Guild members has the idea for starting one, but another said that Brynjolf would kick him out of the guild if he even suggested it. It's sad that we seem to have a requirement to associate six with violence here, rather than with affection. I noticed this ages ago in TV Guide (is it even around anymore? been 20+ years since I've seen one) where the ads for movies or shows that might be sixually suggestive would also show a gun. Once you notice it, you'll see it everywhere.

On a lighter note, I always think of that conversation between Terry Thomas and Milton Berle in "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World." Thomas is criticizing America for its "constant preoccupation with bosoms!"

Kind of hard though to try and shove gold coins down someone's G String....lol

Well, then he should quit the thieves guild and sign up with the prosttutes guild (It's mentioned atleast in the "Origin of the Fighter's Guild" book in Oblivion, but is never featured in any game.)
