This game is way too easy!

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 3:57 pm

I am only lv 54 working towards being a full weapons master. The first thing I did was focus on getting smithing, enchanting, heavy armor and one handed weapons to 100. I made a set of daedric armor to wear for battle, a set of armor that would accept the improving weapons enchantment which turns out with a grand soul and all the enchanting perks topped off got me 25% improvment for each of the 4 items I could equip. With this worn I improved my daedric armor to it's max potential, I also did this with the two daedric swords. Next step was to enchant the armor and weapons. My main focus was health regen, stamina regen, and one handed damage. I also created a ring and an amulet that both boost one handed damage by 40% and health regen by 40%. When it was all said and done I had armor and weapons that had duel enchantments on them that boosted my one hand damage to 120%, health regen to 120%, frost and fire damage resit to 40% each, stamina regen to 80%, and two swords that both had 31 points of fire damage and 20 points of heath stolen from target and also did 205 damage each. So with my one handed weapon perks of armsman at 5/5, dual flurry 2/2, dual savagery 1/1, and fighting stance 1/1 and my heavy armor perks of juggernaut 5/5, fists of steel 1/1, cushioned 1/1, and conditioning 1/1. I also activated the Antronach stone. The result, with the game on Master, nothing can kill me, almost everything dies with one combo, I never use potions because my life never falls farther than halfway, and I killed Alduin in 3 power combos standing right in front of him. I would expect this if I was at level 81 but at 54. FYI, I play on XBOX 360, no mods. Don't get me wrong, I love this game. I just wish it was more challenging.

First off, learn to use paragraphs, no one likes reading a wall of text. Secondly, yes the game is unbalanced, especially if you exploit alchemy, smithing and enchanting. If you want more challenge consider not using these skills and only level the ones that are part of the archetype of your player character.

So you did everything that could be done to make yourself an immortal god and now you're unhappy you're an immortal god?

These threads are getting old

I think someone is casting a summon thread spell. I keep tackling the same one over & over :D

But.... yet another guy who already knows how to play the game, plays it to extreme levels, does nothing to at all to play within the norm, then complains it's all too easy. Mods is the answer.

Are you trying to troll http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1315248-complaining-about-how-easy-the-game-is/ thread, or was this just happenstance?

Indeed. :D

I do think smithing and enchanting are a bit too powerful though.

Fort Kastav, (near Azura Shrine), take on all the Necromancers there as a warrior. Survive that on master difficulty and I'll believe your claim. :P

I can't even get in the place myself.

That's because you're a normal player. People who are outside the norm demand that the game be tailored for them :)

For these people, the modding community beckons.

First off, thank you to all the trolls, you add so much to a disscusion. My point is that I am playing the game perfectly inside the design and expected just a little more. I humbly beg the forgivness of the court. And, your telling me your so sick of these posts but you took the time to click on mine and add your little spice of life. Thanks.

I'm sorry itsnot more challenging for you but frankly I wouldn't want to see it more chellenging across the board because its just fine for me. I actuallty find it more differcult than most games because its so easy to run into something out of your depth.

I agree about Fort Kastav. That place is tough, There's another one Fort Amol or something like that , where the necromancers inside are leagues ahead of the ones outside. I got killed lots there also.

Well done, you have approached an Elder Scrolls game as if you were playing warcraft professionally. You win....something.

in other words, despite your impeccable minmaxing, you have no idea how to play these games.
