50% of this game is you watching the loading screen

What loading times? I know that consoles have longer loading times, but i have played the 360 version and they didn't annoy me. On PC they don't exist more or less.

Edit. now when i think after, i remember the loading times on Fallout 3 being fine for 360, until i played for about 200 hours and visited almost every location, then they where like 1 minute long. But early on in the game, as well as in this game, the loading times are fast, like 10 seconds max and thats on 360. On PC they don't even get that long when you been to every location.

PC user, with a monster machine and a RAID array for a hard drive.

I have a problem with loading screens too- they disappear so fast I can't read the little tips and story bits on them. :D

Got the W764bit-Pro on an SSD and the game on a different SSD and a pretty nice PC. Load screens are practically non-existent. I find it funny that according to Windows Experience Rating the slowest thing in my system, as it is now, is my RAM. Guess I need to get a DDR3 compatible motherboard some day, assuming they can support an E8600 that is, lol. :twirl:

Yeah, same "problem" here. ;)

And I really cant feel sorry for the console players. They got what they deserve for buying those darn console games which are the bane of PC gaming. Why anyone would want to play a game like Fallout 3 / New Vages on a console is beyond me. Or any other game, really.

Could have been fixed if they added some reasonable fast-travel locations...
Like one INSIDE FotA's fort.
And one INSIDE Camp McCaran at the door and one on the other side by the tower.
And one right between Atomic Wrangler/Van Graffs and Kings.

I hate having to walk the same looooong stretch for the 30th time.
Would have been more okay if there was more stuff going on around there.
Like the zone with Kings/Van Graffs/Atomic Wrangler.
There could have been some more stores around there, but currently it's just a very very very long unnecessary stretch one has to walk.

Gotta agree with you there. All the map markers are outside the towns, so if you want to go to the Strip or Freeside, you have to fast-travel to the gates, then go through another load screen. And then two other load screens to get to the Strip, and possibly 2 more, depending on where in the Strip you want to go.

Kind of annoying.
