who cares... :flamethrower: Every massive game like this has bugs. Hopefully with their next game they will have a better coding system which wont corrupt all of the game files.

.The End

You mean like, maybe the next game they really will have a new engine and not just rename Gamebryo? Because that's where the bug comes from, a combination of Gamebryo and the console save systems. Which is why the same save bugs were in Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout:New Vegas.

Given that Beth has produced 100's of hours of entertainment for me, from daggerfall, through skyrim, hell yes I'll buy the next one.

Sorry, but I love the game (which runs just fine on my XBox). If they put out a sequel I'll be there on launch day.

That said, I *have* held off on the 1.2 patch.

I love the people who say because Skyrim wasn't good they won't pay for the next Beth game, but they'll still play it, wink wink. So, because the game is crappy, you won't pay for it, but you'll still play it? Do you value your time so little that you'll spend dozens of hours playing a game you don't like? That's like saying "There's a restaurant in town that charges $10 for a plate of dog crap, but I figured out a way to get it for free. Clever me!"

Uh.......

What?

They start making this game back in 2006 and it was released in 2011. how the hell was it rushed?

There are things in the game that bug me, but I am enjoying it. Bring on Elder of the Scrolls VI :D

Find me a game developer that makes large, complex, involved, highly detailed and interactive game worlds on the scale that Bethesda does without a lot of glitches and I might start to consider all your whining as genuine. Oh, wait, there aren't any. Glitches are a part of a game like this. This isn't Fable. If you don't like it, then don't buy the games, but stop your incessant whining. Bethesda worked extremely hard on this game, and all you people who say they didn't are fools. They are still working hard on it. You can't just fix problems over night. You really have no idea how difficult it is to code any game, let alone one on this scale.

Bethesda, I will always pre-order your games. I love them and they are like no other.

Your argument might have meant something if Skyrim hadn't been pirated over a week before release ON THE XBOX 360.

Edit: A full week before it was available to be pirated on PC, I might add.

True but it's much harder to pirate on a console then on a PC. Currently I don't think there is a way you play a pirated game without Microsoft banning you from XBOX Live, which means no patchs, DLC, etc.
This is because of the new disk format they use. Been out of the scene for a while so, not sure if they found a way around it yet.

Anybody can pirate games on a PC, console.... bit more tricky/annoying. Which is why some game devs. are shifting the attention to console more(Skyrim's menu UI).

I can live with bugs and glitches and I'll probably follow up their next game (which, I suppose, will be a Fallout title -- the reason I ever joined the forums) and see if they manage improve their formulaes. If, though, it is just a bland reiteration of Skyrim and Fallout 3 (which weren't really too top notch)... I'm outta here.

Your mind's conscience? WTF are you talking about? Now Skyrim is a drug? Really? Ok, didn't think this thread could hit rock bottom so fast. Cheerio. I'm going to send this quote around my office and laugh at your expense.

you just re iterate my point. Your so far gone there's is no getting the grip off of you. This is exactly the response of a drug addict when confronted about their addiction

Die hard veteran of release day New Vegas, I am immune to bugs!

I just never understood how bugs could ruin a game for somebody.

I played Gothic III with the Community Patch 1.5 even though many things were fixed, it was hell compared to any Bethesda game on release day. ^^

Eh, the rage from PS3 gamers is understandable and I'm sure they've lost a handful of them at least on release day.

As someone who is playing a perfectly functional version of the game I will say it's amazing. Even if you wait a couple months after release day on the next one you're still going to want it.

If they only develop for the PC, I will buy their games. I will not buy another console port. I hated Oblivion.

Bethesda will continue to make console ports for money, so, short story, no, I will not buy Bethesda games anymore

Thank god now please find a new forum to grief.

I've had minimal bugs with Skyrim. Minimal bugs with Oblivion. LOVE both games. Loved xbox Morrowind. I play skyrim pc and played oblivion pc.

Thank you Bethesda for letting me roam freely in the worlds I dreamed of as a kid. Skyrim; game of the year, maybe the decade.

Can't wait for ES6.
