Fixed. 99.99% of the time I find the second website useless if I went to the UESP first. The only time I ever used the Elder Scrolls Wiki was back before the Creation Kit came out and no item pictures were on the UESP.

If you are having problems winning a battle, don't forget that you can change the difficulty of the game. At the beginning I was getting very frustrated trying to beat a Deathlord until I realised that I could go into the game settings and change my level.
Don't be put off by some of the posts on here. If you are a casual gamer like me, who is just playing for the pure fun of the game, there is nothing wrong with that!

I do this quite often, I play on expert but won't hesitate to lower the difficulty as and when i feel the need.

To decorate your house drop item on the ground, leave the house, get back in and decorate.

i wish i would have known that i should have created a hybrid character from the start as my primary pc and to NOT specialize. the hybrid can be made to be all-powerful, i can use any skill i want on any gaming session and experience all the questlines and guilds on one playthrough.

and, i would have saved my specialized and strict rping for DiD.

You can Fus Ro Da (Unrelenting Force shout) floor traps and runes on the ground to activate them. This has a variety of useful purposes, including luring your enemies to their deaths, and clearing the path in front of you.

Even 360 users can hot key 2 items. Add items to favorite list, for example a bow and a sword. Next open the favorites menu by pushing up on D-pad. Highlight the bow and push left on D-pad. Highlight the sword and push right on D-pad.

You’re welcome. Now you can quickly switch between ranged/melee or favorite defensive then offensive spell without pausing the action.

Cheers!

Enemies with a bow and arrow never run out of arrows.

They can shoot at you 100 times, or 1 time, and they will still have the same set number of arrows in their inventories when you loot their corpse.

Create a save before approaching a ranged enemy.

Try to absorb as many of the enemies' arrows as possible, by letting them shoot at you for as long as you want.

Keep a reasonable distance from them so that they do not switch to melee.

This will really help with increasing your arrow supply.

Really is fun during the early game, especially in Helgen. Helpful, too.

You can just stand out on the great porch at dragons reach while a soldier is practicing with a bow and collect free steel arrows early game.

Don't mess with giants till level 23. Unless you have a zillion health potions.

Killed one at level 8. Conjurer Mage ftw!

Make your character look around them by pushing the right thumbstick in the desired direction. (please note that the y axis can be inverted (as it should be))
I can't find the thumb stick. Is that near my keyboard? This thread is no help at all.

The Become Ethereal shout allows you to sprint without using stamina. Just figured that out, multiple hundreds of hours in, on my 6th character.

The first time you play an Elder Scrolls game, clear your weekend and possibly your whole next week of all schedules
