I tripped over a cabbage and killed myself.

No, but I snuck up on a sleeping draughr, and proceeded to stab him to death with my sword. He opened his eyes and that was unexpected, and pretty damn freaky, because he was a twitiching in his little cell. Creepy, creepy, creepy.

So I was in a dungeon, fighting some of those rediculusly common zombie mummy Drougr guys, and one of them got a lucky hit on me, and almost all of my health was wiped out. Unable to continue fighting, I started running towards the exit of the dungeon. But, since skyrim hates me and my Xbox, I tripped over a cabbage I had dropped there to free up storage space and, somehow, was killed.

Although it WAS pretty funny XD has anything like this happened to anyone else?

LOL Mark that one up for the record books. But look at it this way, at least it wasn't an arrow to the knee.... ;)

Hm, the closest I can compare is filling up my Riften home's basemant up with coin. Around a good 53,623 of it.

Well needless to say I decided to run into it, jumping & screaming.

It turns out Skyrim does have tiny little golden bullets but no golden gun.

You needed skooma to do that? I beat her on a daily basis just to remind her of her place.

Yeah, she's a strong one, I needed to chain her to the bed for most of the day, but well, now she can't say no anymore.

Let's just say the "weightless" carrots are not so harmless as they would seem...

Hasn't happened to me, but I've seen a draugr die by stubbing his toe on a shield.

LOL!

Mine isn't so funny as it silly.
I was on my way to whiterun and saw a cart just sitting there. So I kinda nudged it. It rolled. Woo hoo. I have a new toy! I kept gently nudging it down the hill. Now I'm a five year old.
I am paying absolutely no attention to anyone as I'm self absorbed with my new toy, so I don't notice the wolves, after me.
I finally nudge my cart, see the wolves, kill them and continue on. My health is diminished but so what, I'm almost there, unfortunately I kicked the cart too hard and it hit some imperials leading a prisoner.
Apparently this is considered a weapon. I was level 3 .

I hope you went straight back into that dungeon and taught that cabbage a very permanent lesson.

Mine isn't quite as funny but it does involve a HUGE free fall to my death. I was fighting some druegar up the side of some mountain with stairs when suddenly a deathlord popped up and hit me with the shout that just knocks you back, usually just kinda funny to watch my character fly around and twitch till he stands up but this time I went FAR over the edge of the mountain and went a huge ker-splat.
Other then that I've run into some kamakazi dragons a few times, they come flying at me a full speed and then crash into the ground making a big dust storm and long trench in the ground. This is REALLY funny but svcks since apparently they explode when they do this and there is nothing to loot and I don't even get a soul.

Nothing like that has killed me, I will take some minor damage when I walk into some bones or other clutter. I guess it's the game world's equivalent of stubbing your toe on something.

Because obviously my toe is vital and if I stub it on a cabbage I will most likely die.

Yeah, those cabbage baskets are the worst.

Dovahkiin can get stabbed, take multiple arrows to the knee, set on fire, frozen, struck by lightning, paralyzed, kill dragons, save the world, help everyone and their mom kill numerous bandits and retrieve stolen treasures and become thane of every hold in Skyrim without a flinch... but SPLINTERS? May the nine save us.

On two separate occasions in Riverwood I have either accidentally killed or harm one of the chickens (swinging my sword at the ground and hit it and I nearly dropped my controller so I grabbed for it frantically and in doing so shouted Unrelenting Force). Those people love their chickens because both times the entire town got pissed.
