I tripped over a cabbage and killed myself.

The best was when I shouted a mountain goat off the side of the mountain he lived on.. I heard him "baaahh" about 100 feet down. It sounded sad.

The first Inn you get to in Solitude walking in the front gate has some hanging pots that will kill you too.

I've heard of similar posts about being killed by a mudcrab (in Oblivion) for much the same thing. Loosing most of the Player Characters health during a battle then meeting a mudcrab before healing.

And in Skyrim, I think someone posted about being killed by a rooster.

But I've never heard of a killer cabbage before.

Next thing we know, we'll be fatally bombarded by air particles.

the reason I gave up my altmer character: was walking through bleak falls barrow, would seem altmer are considerably taller than bretons (my previous char), anyway, smacked my head on one of those flaming pots suspended from the cieling, knocked it right down on top of me and burned to death in an instant.

oh, there also had a funny run-in with a trap a few days ago, snuck through a dungeon, carefully kiling the forsworn inside, avoided all the traps, checked my map before heading out the back, realised i'd missed a side tunnel and some loot a ways back, ran practically back to the start of the dungeon, once again avoiding the traps, grabbed the loot (was pretty decent), was annoyed by this point so I pushed sprint and raced back to the end of the dungeon again. Or rather, halfway there. One trap in particular i'd avoided 4 times (there was some earlier backtracking) i had somehow forgotten about, was one of those swinging wall of spikes traps. Next thing i knew there was a loud bang and I saw my chars body bounce off the wall. *sigh* reload back to the start of the dungeon...

On two separate occasions in Riverwood I have either accidentally killed or harm one of the chickens (swinging my sword at the ground and hit it and I nearly dropped my controller so I grabbed for it frantically and in doing so shouted Unrelenting Force). Those people love their chickens because both times the entire town got pissed.

Speaking of chickens, don't you just love how they can be a witness to a crime

So I was in a dungeon, fighting some of those rediculusly common zombie mummy Drougr guys, and one of them got a lucky hit on me, and almost all of my health was wiped out. Unable to continue fighting, I started running towards the exit of the dungeon. But, since skyrim hates me and my Xbox, I tripped over a cabbage I had dropped there to free up storage space and, somehow, was killed.

Although it WAS pretty funny XD has anything like this happened to anyone else?

Didn't your mother ever tell you to eat all your veg!?

This will teach you for just chucking it on the floor.

No sympathy. I feel for your mother.

Edit: No, that was not the dumbest thing I did. That also involved a mountain side and a slope. I thought I was using a Flame Shout, when instead I had Whirlwind Sprint selected. Well, I was about 500 feet above the valley floor after the shout with nothing under my feet. I must have looked like Wile E Coyote just before I started the descent straight down.

LOL but i know the feeling. Had a similar situation where i ran after a fleeing dragon (yes, they do sometimes seem to flee, or maybe he was just was preparing an major fly over with flames and so) and while i was looking into the sky to follow my dragon, i ran out off ground to walk on

I found new ground in a hard way so the dragon got away and next thing i see was a loading screen

I meant to use "Fus Ro Dah" on the Hagraven that was at the top of Hag's End, but I used the full 3-worded "Whirlwind Sprint" instead by accident. It's funny how time seems to slowly go by when falling from a great height....

Then I decided to try and recharge my primary weapon in a dark Nordic ruin called Dead Men's Respite. Hit "R" instead of "T" and dropped it.... and I had between 5-10 Dragur that was roflstomping my face when this snafu happened.

Had a group of giants get bum rushed by 5 bandits outside of the Vigilant of Stendarr's hut. Being the "good guy" RP're that I am, I decided to side with the big guys. One ill timed swing of my battleaxe later and my would-be rescuees sent me on a skyward journey to Masser.

... I can't win for loosing sometimes.

Well, I ate it, if that counts...

That sounds as permanent as it gets!

Just make sure that evil cabbage doesn't poison you from within. Stay strong warrior, fight the cabbage and its allies!
