LOL do they?

Yeah -__-
They even run with the same hunched over motion, stand and swing their claws to fight the same way, are about the same size relative to humans, and feed and bite the throat the same way.
Then again its a sterotypical werewolf archetype and I really didn't notice it until they added vampire lords to the game.

Once they did the similarities between both the Vampire lord and Marcus Corvinus and Werewolves in between Skyrim and Underworld became far too glaringly obvious.

I totally agree with the ability to turn you follower but to say that the werewolf form is still weak is a very false statement. If you want help with figuring out what works best as a werewolf or hunting tips come check out my topic http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1387721-a-call-to-the-wolfpack-7/ the first 5 threads are full of very useful information and hunting tactics.

Just make the alpha wolf not look like a mutated rat

Serana is Selene

Harkon is Victor LOL!!!

But I love the plot in both UNDW and Dawn

So now not only do we have Marcus Corvinus (the first Vampire from Underworld):

But watch they are gonna make it so the "Alpha wolf" looks like this:

(aka William Corvinus the first Werewolf from Underworld).

Bam Underworld in Skyrim lmao
I swear that's a fan art model? I remember William being huge, not some midget rat/monkey....

what annoys is the perk for the totem of fear just returns the ability to the level it was before it was nerfed by dawnguard couldn't even scare a bandit marauder

The only thing they need to add to werewolves is forced transformations.

Id like the werewolves to be a different color like brown white or black just like how the wolves in Skyrims wilderness have different colors and the female werewolf's neck to be a little more slender, for some reason they remind me of the minotaurs from oblivion too much but i love playing as a werewolf now as they are

I said this in another thread so here goes:
The problem i see aganist the werwolves vs vampire lords is that its unfair. Your basically sending normal werewolves aganist the boss of all vampires,no matter what the normal werewolves are gonna be slaughtered.Normal werewolves vs normal vampires are a fair fight but aganist vampire lords the werewolves are done.If bethesda added a werewolf boss like a alpha wolf or something, then that my friend would be a fair fight
my normal werewolf has 70% magic resistance between perks, lord stone and agent of Mara. A normal werewolf without WF perks can slaughter normal vampires. The companions aren't normal werewolves so one can say they are already alphas.

It'd be cool to have a little variety, like if you did a bunch of companion quests you could get a different looking werewolf form or something

Not as useful as it could be.

What are you getting at? There's tons of useful info for the new werewolf in there, what standing stone best fits a werewolf, what perks carry over, what racial abilities carry over etc...etc... Perhaps you didn't read it you just scanned it.

Rather than a Detect Life power, how about something more in line with a wolf? Keen Sense would use the wolf's most powerful sense, the sense of smell, to detect general location of enemies. However, this power would be useable in both wolf form and human form.

Why do the werewolf and vampire forms need to be balanced?

I think the Werewolf is perfectly fine where it is, except that they should be able to use all the totems at once rather than one at a time.
This. Thank god for mods for PC. How much does someone want to bet that someone will figure out a mod for this that works with the perk tree within a week of Dawnguard's release?

This. Considering how many abilities vampire lords have, I'd like to at least see the werewolf e able to switch between the totems at will, in the favorites menu as the vampire does with its powers.

tottaly agree with here.

Also they should replace the Totem of Ice Brothers - Howl that summons Ice Wolves Because it wil become complete useles when you have. Totem of the Moon - Howl that summons Werewolves.
They should replace it with something the help you survive mabye 30% les damage from all attacks. Or mabye a perk that will improve your stamina regen with 30% or 40% name of the perk can be survival of the fittest. and mabye a new perk the wil make your claw attacks cause bleed damage like the vampire perk Poison Talons but instead of poison damage, bleed damage.

Or you can be really cool and make it so that one of the totems allows you to infect whoever you kill so they turn into wild rapid werewolves that either attack indiscriminately or help you out for a little bit before they just die from the wolf blood overwhelming the weak bodies.

Aka every time you ravage a small town or a bunch of bandits you leave behind a mess of rabid uncontrollable werewolves :D

Lol who cares. Might as well take the cool stuff from the movie. They borrowed enough of the daughter vs father plot and vampire transformation lol.
