Underpowered Wolf 2 (Declawed Version-Dawnguard)

Bethesda I am a fan of the werewolf, one of the best features of the game if you remove the restrictions. There are far to many restrictions on the werewolf. Some of the capabilities of the werewolf should be sustained. Like traits like detect life. What wolf cannot do that or see at night. To compensate the lack of detect life as a standard capability, add sustained night vision at least. This will not contradict the totem limit system. They need to add a leap fatality (execution) for the wolf, that can be used midrange. Come on Bethesda do not throw the werewolf potential to the wolves. Great job with the level 4 strength for werewolves, because they should issue dragon like damage. This needs to also apply to damage taken. Werewolves heal, so they should regenerate health and feeding leads to a frenzy, coupled with the detect life affect. You have the vampire and werewolf capabilities mixed up. To much to the Vampire Lord and not enough for the werewolf. Solution add a evolve feature for a Alpha Wolf, to add these features. This will also allow you to turn your companions into your pack. You can give the command for them to change during combat. Last but not least Alphas can turn at will. This will balance out the vampire lord and werewolf difference. This also solves the issue of the never changing into a werewolf companion, Aela.

thissounds more like vamps have this so warewolfs should have this too

I think the Werewolf is perfectly fine where it is, except that they should be able to use all the totems at once rather than one at a time.

Night Vision wouldn't be a bad addition either. However, I'm already having problems with the Vampire one. I play a Khajiit Vamp and in normal form I have the Khajiit power one and can't use the Vamp one, but in VL form I get the Vamp night vision and cant use the Khajiit one. This is a huge PITA being that everytime I transform to VL and back to Khajiit, the Khajiit version of the power is removed from my favorites and I have to re-favorite it every time. I'm not sure why they did it like this.

I do not know a transformation then a totem for a werewolf to detect life. Thats alot. Transforming in the first place, needs to make sense to coincide with the niche wow affect of seeing the werewolf form. There needs to be a beneift, rather than my cool form died quicker than my normal form.

I love this idea, especially the Alpha form idea. The werewolf is great right now, I just feel that the only thing that has changed is the power of the totems, which is fine. Though just does not make playing a werewolf completely worth while.


im guessing you want a dlc just for ware wolfs as well then?

No, they can do an update, or just add it into a DLC while not making it the main point OF the DLC.

I do not know, how about take a walk at night through the wilderness, with a raw steak in your hip pocket and wonder if the wolves fifty yds from you can see you at night.

The problem i see aganist the werwolves vs vampire lords is that its unfair. Your basically sending normal werewolves aganist the boss of all vampires,no matter what the normal werewolves are gonna be slaughtered.Normal werewolves vs normal vampires are a fair fight but aganist vampire lords the werewolves are done.If bethesda added a werewolf boss like a alpha wolf or something,then that my friend would be a fair fight

Not bad, also the Alpha wolf should just be an evolve thing. One you do that the perk tree is wiped clean with different perks. The amount of coding would be small given they have the mechanics in place already. You should also be unique in appearance.

That werewolf looks butt ugly, no thanks. Also this should not be compared to under world. Never seen the movie, don't want it seeping into the Skyrim world.

I think war torn and elder will work. Of cousre appear visually more powerful. Dark Grey Underbelly and Salt and Pepper Coat. Blood soaked.

Also the head the the werewolf does not seem so menacing, he looks like a large pup at the moment. Perhaps Sharper longer front fangs, with the coat you described. Also, I think it would be cool if hercine granted the Alpha wolf the Call of the hunt ability.
